If the 4th of July means something negative to you, that's your issue. To me, it means community. I live in a very diverse community.
My neighbors are Black, Hispanic, Filipino, Samoan, and a few Whites. Every year on the 4th, we have a block party. Everyone breaks out their red, white, and blue, their grills, and cultural foods.
Prior to this day, I became nauseous due to all the negativity being placed on the day. From mainstream media, young indoctrinated Americans who don't realize or refuse to appreciate how blessed they are, to social media.
Heck, even on Facebook, I couldn't find a patriotic background to use for my post all week. It seemed there were a lot of people going out of their way to influence me and others to hate this day and this country. Today, I'll share food with my Hispanic neighbors.
My White neighbors put on a fireworks show for us all that will rival any theme park. (How the heck do they find this stuff? 🤣) My Black brothers and sisters and everyone else will stop by to devour my wife's ribs and wings. Most will be wearing red, white, and blue. No talk of oppression. No talk of hate. Just a lot of food and blowing things up.
Not one mention of our races or ethnicities to each other, or who is more patriotic. Our children throughout the area will be riding bikes, playing cornhole or basketball. I will sit in contentment, enjoying it all.
With so many trying to divide us, when it comes down to it, we love this country. What makes it great is not its history, for good or bad. It's the great people you share it with if you decide to be the best version of who you are on the inside, instead of focusing or, even worse, weaponizing what you are on the outside.
Hating on America is hating on my neighbors who fly their flags proudly. It's hating on people over 250 years who fought and bled for us to enjoy freedom other nations pray for. There is no convincing many these days that our nation is the greatest idea on earth.
I'm discovering these folks are addicted to anger. If they go to any other country in this world and dig into their pasts, they will find dark moments to be angry about. No country on this planet came into existence without conflict, bloodshed, tragedy, and inhumanity. Not one. But if they go to these other countries, they won't even look for those dark moments.
Their conditioning or indoctrination is laser-focused on us. Who is us? My incredible neighbors who love our country, fought for this country, migrated here and made a life for themselves from a place they couldn't, who work hard to support their families, and are grateful for who we are now. Decent people who care about our community. We are America too. Happy 250th all. God bless.
I was the father testifying that day for my Katie.
Jessica, the member who appeared to be sleeping during our testimony was @JerryNadler.
In my view, his conduct was emblematic of the indifference too many of us encountered that day.
While grieving families were sharing the most painful moments of our lives, he appeared to be asleep.
No parent should have to testify before members of Congress who cannot even remain attentive.
If Congressman @JerryNadler cannot stay awake and engaged while grieving parents testify, then perhaps it's time for him to step aside.
The American people deserve representatives who are fully present, especially when citizens are sharing the worst day of their lives.
But he wasn't alone. @RepJayapal, @jamie_raskin, and other Democrats on the committee who claim to represent the party of compassion showed indifference, disdain, and contempt not only toward me but, far more disturbingly, toward Jessica Gorman for having the courage to challenge them and expose the human cost of these policies.
The Gormans are a wonderful family.
They deserved respect.
They deserved to be heard.
What we witnessed that day from every Democrat was completely abhorrent, despicable and unacceptable.
Every single day I fed her on the streets of Thailand little Snickers would bring me a little gift.
It got her a home in America. You can probably guess what she is up to over there now!
You mean men, men who claim to be women. You are a national broadcaster that consistently obfuscates facts around sex because you’ve taken an ideological position the public overwhelmingly rejects. This isn’t news, it’s propaganda.
🚨 MOTHER OF MURDER VICTIM TO DEMS: "THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE"
Jessica Gorman, mother of Sheridan Gorman, confronts Rep. Pramila Jayapal after Democrats balked at hearing from Angel Families: "I'm thankful my daughter wasn't ra*ped but just shot in the head... Then you want to dismiss angel families! This is unacceptable."
Currently in New York City, Comrade Mamdani does not want to increase the headcount of an already depleted police department because with everyone thriving under socialism, there’ll be no need for policing in any way, shape, or form. Additionally, he wants to downsize the prisons there because hardened criminals can be fixed with hugs and warm fuzzies. He also wants all illegals to feel perfectly comfortable in New York City where he will hold them and feed them and take care of their every want and need.
Yeah, there’s no way any of this will go wrong. In another couple of months, the streets will be paved with literal gold. GOLD, I tells ya!
Family, we got our van back! A huge thank you to the incredible team at Anderson Ford of Lincoln North in Lincoln, Nebraska, for stepping up after hearing about our deer accident. They generously covered all of the repairs related to the deer damage and even paid for half of the additional repairs they discovered along the way. The total repair bill came to around $15,000. Anderson Ford covered more than $10,000, and thanks to your generous donations, we were able to cover the remaining $5,000. Your support also helped purchase the grill guard you now see on the front of the van, which will provide extra protection if we ever encounter another deer on the road. Hopefully, we never have to test it!
Thank you, Anderson Ford, and thank you to every single person who donated and prayed for us during this journey. I’m now headed back home to Huntsville, Alabama, and next week I’m hoping to get back on the road to visit more kids across the country who have completed the 50 Yard Challenge. Nebraska, thank you for your kindness and hospitality, and thank you, family, for always standing with us.
Arizona State University @ASU is in court fighting 89 year old Robert Young to take the home he's owned since 1975 for their "green space." I'm calling on ASU's President, @michaelcrow to reach out to me ASAP. This is not ok. We must defend this man.

We saw the unspeakable on Skid Row in Los Angeles:
Helpless dogs being bred and sold for drugs—chained up for weeks in miserable conditions.
SHAME on Newsom, Becerra, Bass and the useless politicians who've allowed this to continue! We must defeat them in November.
An 11-year-old boy. One crochet hook. 60 skeins of yarn. No pattern. Two weeks. 🇺🇸
While juggling tennis camps and baseball games, Grayson poured his heart into crocheting this stunning American flag blanket—just in time to celebrate America’s 250th Independence Day. 🧨
No fancy instructions, just pure determination and love for his country. The result is a beautiful family heirloom that proves some of life’s greatest treasures are still made by hand. 🇺🇸✨
Proud of this kid and the quiet power of creativity in the next generation.
What an inspiration! 👏
Little Skye and Rod Stewart were found in the worst possible conditions. Both close to death.
She had been struggling big time with us humans until he came along.
Now suddenly she is playing and has a best friend
Tina’s hospital is really coming along fast.
Have to sort of pinch myself. We’re going to be able to help so many street dogs here and train so many staff to go into the field.
It’s amazing what one gorgeous dog has inspired ❤️
EXPOSE THEM: Giuseppe's Brooklyn Oven in Arcadia, Florida told our owner that he, his wife and their four little girls weren't welcome at the restaurant because he has a service dog trained in medical and psychiatric response.
Whiskey, seen in the pictures, has over 3,000 hours of training - 2500 hours in medical and mobility and an additional 500 hours in psychiatric response training.
Restaurant staff told our owner that "no dogs are allowed". He let them know that not only does he travel with her paperwork (which they legally can't actually ask for), but that state and federal ADA laws are clear that businesses can't refuse service.
They told him "federal law doesn't apply to us" because "our owner doesn't like dogs".
He requested a conversation with the owner. 15 minutes later, another woman came out and said "he's out of the country so we'll make a one time exception".
After letting her also know about the law, he stated concern about what they'd do to their food.
She smirked and shrugged, sending a very clear message. He and his family left.
Let's also make sure to send THEM a clear message. Blast this EVERYWHERE.
I’ll never forget finding Iris on the chain here in Thailand.
She had no shelter from the sun or heavy rains and she was deathly thin.
I was just sent photos of her from her her owners and it doesn’t even look like the same dog… (1/4) 🧵
