(Part 4 of 4)
Map Knowledge:-
Itโs VERY important to know the maps in the game for many reasons such as ( knowing where the healing packs are ) ( knowing how and where to flank ) ( knowing where they might push from ) ( knowing how to reach and take high ground )
Each map will hand you a different challenge and a different overlay so make sure you play the game as much as possible to experience all the maps and know how to master them to reach higher ranks in no time
HAPPY OVERWATCHING ๐
(Part 3 of 4)
Hero Knowledge:-
Whatever hero you want to play and master, itโs very CRUCIAL that you know what your abilities do and WHEN to use them
Many abilities and ultimates can win you the fights and enemy team will always try to bait those abilities/ultimates before using their own ultimates to make sure their ults wonโt get ruined
Make sure you read the description of all your abilities and get used to them in QP before trying to jump into COMP games
(Part 2 of 4)
Role Knowledge:-
Whatever role youโre playing in Overwatch, your duties are different
As for the TANK: your main job is to be the FRONTLINE for your team and make SPACE so your team gets more freedom to push and flank
As a DPS: you are the one responsible for applying the pressure on the enemy team and make sure you hold the chokes very well and eliminate enemies
And for a SUPPORT: you are the BACKLINE of your team. Make sure you have a line of sight on ALL of your teammates to provide them with healing and the supportive abilities that allows them to take advantage in the fight
(Part 1 of 4)
โQ, is aim enough to get to high ranks in OW ?โ
Absolutely NOT
In fact, aim is not even the most important thing to focus on if you want to rank up (still important though)
Things thatโs more important than aim:-
1- Role knowledge
2- Hero knowledge
3- Map knowledge
(IN THAT ORDER)
Is saying (gr) = (good round) after winning an Overwatch round is TOXIC ?
Iโm someone who says (gr) whether I win or lose the round because itโs a friendly way to appreciate the enemy efforts
But apparently people get REALLY mad when you say that after you win the round and they often say ( No it wasnโt ) or ( Yeah maybe for you )
So should I say ( GG ) if I win or should I always say ( EZ ) because some low IQ idiots on the game just canโt handle a video game since it makes them rage and cry
Do I get offended when people tell me that I should stop trying to become a streamer and I should look for a โreal jobโ instead ?
People in general HATE seeing others trying and the even hate it more when they see them achieving things they couldnโt
No one wants to see you succeed or have fun because you why would YOU succeed and have fun when they couldnโt do the same ?
Why is OVERWATCH way better than MARVEL RIVALS ?
Ok here's my honest opinion since I've tried BOTH games
1- HEROES : Overwatch heroes are way more unique when it comes to characteristics, origin stories, kits, and designs
2- MAPS : Overwatch maps are mostly located in known countries and not in another universe where things don't even relate to the players. In Overwatch you can feel that maps actually match the vibes of that place/country if you've been to those places before
3- PC LOAD : Overwatch as a game runs way better on PCs than Marvel Rivals. Many players say that Marvel Rivals runs too slow compared to Overwatch on the same PC which makes enjoying the game even harder
4- SMOOTHNESS : As in-game, playing Overwatch and comparing the heroes movements to Marvel Rivals gives Overwatch the big win since the game feels smoother and nicer on the eye
5- CHALLENGE : Since I've tried both, Overwatch is way more challenging than Marvel Rivals as it requires you to have better aim and is punishes you more for bad positioning
BONUS: Every Strategist in Marvel Rivals can EASILY keep the whole team alive whilst Supports in Overwatch can't do that so the whole team has to be more careful and position better by playing corners and on enemies mistakes
