Today we have published our new pamphlet 'Uniting Ireland - Uniting Workers'. In this document, we explain why Irish Unity is a workers' issue and we set out our vision of what we hope can be achieved in a new constitutional arrangement.

Paddy Mackel of the Belfast Trades Council.
"These are the ambitious demands we need to make in advance of a Unity referendum:
- Universal health care
- Right to collective bargaining
- 4 day working week
- Public housing
- Irish neutrality
- Proper tax levels for the rich"
Fionnuala Ní Bhrógáin of @CWU speaking on the need for strong collective bargaining, the right of union organisers to access workplaces and the growing repression of trade union rights.
Health care worker and union activists Margaret McKee:
"The biggest obstacle to a United Ireland is the fact that there is no free health service in the south. An All-Ireland NHS, free at the point of need, has to be in place before a referendum takes place."
Gerry Murphy of the INTO kicking off our event this evening.
"A New and United Ireland is not an abstract idea. It's about tackling inequality, climate change and creating a fairer society."
