@lporiginalg It turns out there are a number of unreasonably good rational approximations for pi with small denominators - 22/7, 333/106, etc. That's what we're seeing when the curve almost overlaps with itself.

@Bubbles84218371 @AkiyoshiKitaoka If you zoom waaaay in on one of the red parts you can see it's actually gray. It's a very convincing illusion - I still see red even when I'm zoomed in unless I crop out some of the blue parts.

@nelward64 Yea there is definitely a sweet spot for subs, but I've seen different opinions on how low it goes (sometimes as low as D1). It's also only a rule of thumb - there are rap songs with the main sub at C1/B1 that still hit super hard

@nelward64 your room modes can have a big impact on how the bass feels, if you're noticing a big difference between G and F it might be worth looking into. If you have access to another studio, try your mix out there and see if you notice a difference. Or try headphones/your car/etc.
