@ScottJenningsKY Maybe if the "law enforcement" organizations were actually *following* the laws, there wouldn't need to be protests (which is what there are, not "mobs" as you so inflammatorily named them).
@oh_look_poop@Stewbiedo0@zonk84 If visitors to the US (legal or otherwise) are subject to our laws (which they are), they are under US jurisdiction. Thus, according to the last clause of the 14th amendment, EVERYONE physically in the US is entitled to equal protection, a.k.a. due process.
@onion2015@ProtectYourBag@LangmanVince You support Ted Nugent and Rob Schneider, so I'll give your opinion on my mental health all the attention it deserves. π Bless your heart...you go on and have the day you deserve. π
@AlBuffalo2nite@amuse Everyone is (falsely?) assuming the delay of treatment was due to ideological differences. The article states it was due to the weapons policy. Given that ICE/Border Patrol has been shooting unarmed citizens, can you really blame them for wanting to make sure they weren't armed?
@onion2015@ProtectYourBag@LangmanVince Hmm...all those victims are white and all the perpetrators are BIPOC. Its almost like you only care about white victims that fit your narrative... π€
@onion2015@ProtectYourBag@LangmanVince If Laken Riley's murderer had been allowed to escape justice, people would have protested that, too, but he was arrested, tried, convicted & sentenced. Good & Pretti's killers are being hidden/protected by the government. We don't sanction government killing. WE ARE NOT THE SAME
@SusanP422@ProtectYourBag@LangmanVince You implied all immigrants are a) Somali, b) thieves, c) rapists, d) murderers, e) tax evaders, and f) criminals, in addition to mocking/mischaracterizing their language (Somali does not contain clicks). Both racism and xenophobia fit your behavior; feel free to take your pick.
@TheBrancaShow And then AFTER the word "gun" was shouted, he was disarmed (of the gun he never drew), shot in the back while he was on the ground, shot again repeatedly after he stopped moving, and an agent then clapped and allegedly compared it to Call of Duty. So no, the gun wasn't the issue.
@holly72444 @ProtectYourBag@LangmanVince Pretty sure neither Alex Pretti nor Rachel Good murdered anyone. As for murders, immigrants are safer than American citizens, so...
@SusanP422@ProtectYourBag@LangmanVince Undocumented immigrants have lower crime rates than US citizens and are more likely to be employed, given that they can't access welfare or social safety nets. I'm not a shill for anyone, but I AM a big proponent of not murdering anyone, ESPECIALLY by gov't agent.
@oh_look_poop@Stewbiedo0@zonk84 Wrong. According to the Constitution, due process is owed to everyone within the jurisdiction of the US, NIT just citizens.
@BBorimor@robbysoave Maybe people AREN'T because there's no film showing him pulling his weapon, but lots of footage showing him getting shot in the back AFTER an agent removed the gun he was legally carrying. Maybe they're just trying to drown out your lies.
@SusanP422@ProtectYourBag@LangmanVince Some people actually care about their neighbors and the state of this country. If exercising your rights means a death sentence, then you don't have any rights.
@b00923981@SenLBR Enforcing the laws isn't the problem - ICE operated for years under Obama in windbreakers without murdering any US citizens and deported more people in either term than they have under Trump, and there were no widespread protests. ICE is breaking laws to enforce others. Not ok.
