@Melterialsgal I would say that the amount you received during your internship and benefits is not necessarily representative in all industries. It is common to get more than what you earned in grad school but not 2x more. Often it doesn’t include housing and meals too

@danhuh_ Yes! $25 paperback is great. I have shamelessly ordered international paperback versions while I am in the USA. You just need to order it really far out ahead.

For the educators out there, do use an open access book to help your students out! Textbook prices are ridiculous in the US and very much cheaper elsewhere. Fun fact, I have only bought a brand new textbook once in undergrad and it costs me $70 SGD then

Does @AmericanAir work with Win 32 computers? It takes them 20 min to JUST pull up my flight booking. And I have not even started telling them how things are wrong because they have been cancelling flightsss from my small airport 😑
