ATTN: On Friday, @NYC_Buildings gave megadeveloper Chetrit permission to move construction materials onto the proposed Two Bridges site. So tomorrow morning, we're heading there to demand that they #CheckChetrit and revoke the permits for them to build. (cc: @TUFFxLES, @yuhline)

Nice try but you don’t get points for not trying. No one has a crystal ball. It has to make it through City Planning, the CPC which is an organ of the Mayor before Chin or Marte can bring the Council along. Adams can ensure it never gets to the council.

At the rate Marte is moving, sorry to say there will be no fantasy island - just luxury. And seems like Marte is fine with that; certainly fine with sacrificing Two Bridges or so it seems. Would be happy to be wrong, but Marte hasn’t shown a plan.

CWG Plan is only plan that can do this. Carving out protections for small part of LES will leave you on an island in sea of luxury housing

The CWG is a carve out; you speak as if only the Lower East Side needs these protections. We argue for setting a precedent which can and will be built upon. Again we ask why has no one submitted the CWG, but instead would stand in the way of its same aims?

The Two Bridges plan addresses an imminent threat and we’ve actually submitted an application. Why hasn’t Marte or you’ll started the process?
