Dear God,
Good morning! Today, I’m thanking you in advance for the great things you will do in and through me. I’m asking you to pour out your blessings on every moment ahead of me today! Let your spirit invade me and guide me in the thoughts and choices I make. Help me see the big picture of all you are doing in my life and continue to focus on the next step, as I trust in you! Continue to draw me into closer relationship with you! I love you and thank you for all that I am and all that I have!
In Jesus Name,
Amen 🙏

Let’s pray:
Heavenly Father,
I’m coming to You today ready to release what’s been weighing on me. I’ve been holding onto so much worrying about things I can’t control, overthinking every outcome, and trying to fix situations that were never mine to fix. Truthfully, I’m tired of carrying what was never meant for me and trying to figure everything out. So today, I choose to place it all in Your hands: the stress I can’t shake, the thoughts that won’t slow down, and the fear of the unknown. Help me trust You with what I don’t understand, release the need to control every detail, and remember that You are already ahead of me, working things out in ways I can’t yet see. Thank You for bringing me this far and not leaving me in confusion. Today, I surrender every burden, every worry, and every unanswered question. Fill me with peace where there’s been anxiety, calm my heart, and quiet my mind. Teach me to truly let go and rest in knowing You’ve got me. Amen.
If you don’t write a goal down, it’s not a goal - it’s a wish.
Clarity creates accountability.
Accountability drives action.
Action, repeated daily, is what leads to results.
Slow down, just for a moment. Take a moment and appreciate how blessed you are.
Look at your life, not through the lens of what’s lacking, but through the quiet evidence of what has been given.
You woke up today.
You’re still breathing.
You’re given another chance.
So before you ask for more, pause.
And thank God for what’s already in your hands.

@AshlanCC1 I am both proud and fortunate to have watched you grow up. I remember the lil girl runnin around the practices, and games. That lil girl has now grown into a strong, mature, elite basketball player. I cannot wait to watch you play at USD! Best of luck, keep doing you!
To every kid playing in the State Tournament this week: soak it all in. These moments are built on years of unseen work. Play for your teammates, school, community & the people who helped you get here. Fight for every possession. Leave nothing on that floor. No regrets. Compete!
Kobe Bryant was one of the best basketball players ever, and after scoring 60 points in his final game before retiring, he was asked, “How do you want to be remembered?” Kobe said, “I made a promise to myself that at the end of my career, I want people to think of me as a talented over-achiever; that I was blessed with talent but I worked as if I had none.”
A talented overachiever is someone who becomes the best version of themselves. But Kobe had to overcome his own challenges and obstacles.
The Challenge
When Kobe was 13 years old, he played in a basketball league and didn’t score a single basket all season. Instead of making excuses or quitting, he made a plan and got better, and just a couple of years later, he was one of the best players in the country.
Kobe had a Growth Mindset: He believed he could get better over time and with practice. If he would have had a Fixed Mindset, meaning he didn’t think he could get better, he never would have become an NBA champion.
On your journey, choose to have a Growth Mindset. Choose to believe you can get better if you do the right things — the right way.
