@brayotte@Regan_Smart@JonathanTurley Trash talking and not answering a question in the moment doesn’t seem all that different from asking in advance that cetrian questions not be asked. I’m not defending either but in both cases the public doesn’t learn anything
@JonathanTurley It seems like every other Ny Times article I read indicates that a Republican official refused to be interviewed. What’s the difference?
@wilwalter93@jonathanchait Are the readers the hate readers or richest and most powerful - or are they the same? Wouldn’t the billionaires have folks on staff to provide catharsis?
@musharbash_b@ezraklein@mattyglesias I think the Democratic Party was pro choice in the 2010s while Bob Casey was in the Senate. My point is that I don’t having Ezra’s suggestion that Democrats occasionally nominate/support candidates like Casey means they would be abandoning reproductive rights.
@ThrowingStonz@NateSilver538 Your post claims the pollsters believed that Kamala was “unstoppable.” The guy you’re responding to, Nate Silver, wrote in the NY Times just before the election that the polls were 50/50 but his “gut” said Trump would win. Not exactly a claim that she unstoppable.
