BREAKING: YES! A federal judge BLOCKS Trump from creating a shady centralized "database" containing Social Security numbers, citizenship status, and other crucially sensitive data about voters.

This is a major blow to the MAGA assault on our elections...

“All in all, the federal government has knowingly trampled on the privacy rights of American citizens in a manner that threatens the sacred right to vote. This Court cannot stand idly by while that happens,” stated District Judge Sparkle Sooknanan.

She said that Trump officials working in numerous government agencies “haphazardly combined and repurposed the private information of millions of Americans, including citizenship data that they knew to be unreliable."

They were executing directives handed down by an executive order that Trump signed in an effort to reshape our elections to aid the Republican Party's faltering prospects. That order required the government to create a list of eligible voters gleaned from citizenship data, which would then be sent to the U.S. Postal Service with the express direction that only people who appeared on the list should receive mail-in ballots.

Specifically, the Social Security Administration was commanded to create a State Citizenship List based on the data available to them plus data from naturalization records and DHS's Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements database.

While these efforts are ostensibly about making sure that only citizens can vote, in truth they're part of a sweeping voter suppression strategy. Republicans want to purge as many voters as possible and erect as many barriers to the ballot box as they can because worse turnout advantages them. We know that mass voter fraud doesn't exist but right-wingers perpetuate the myth as a facade for their anti-democracy efforts.

“Since then, states have partnered with the federal government to access the database and are actively removing United States citizens from voter rolls based on inaccurate information,” Sooknanan wrote.

She said the database is unlawful and violates the Social Security Act, Privacy Act and Administrative Procedure Act.

Once again, the Trump administration has sprinted face-first into the solid brick wall of our federal judiciary. We love to see it!

BREAKING: "ALBANIA IS NOT FOR SALE!" Jared Kushner's corrupt resort hits a brick wall as the biggest protests yet sweep the capital with thousands taking to the streets.

Things are looking very grim for Ivanka and her husband...

Over the weekend, the Albanian capital of Tirana was rattled by an outpouring of angry citizens. The protestors proudly carried their nation's flag through the streets and alleys of the four-hundred-year-old city, waving signs that said "Albania is not for sale" along with anti-Kushner and anti-Ivanka slogans.

Many of the activists marched towards the offices of Prime Minister Edil Rama, loudly calling for his resignation because he still stubbornly refuses to oppose Kushner's crooked, plutocratic endeavor. Other protests were held in the city of Vlora.

These protests have been convulsing Albania for 22 days straight now and have been nicknamed the "Flamingo Revolution" because the resort development endangers the protected habitats of several wildlife species.

According to documents obtained by CBS News, the project would include "800 guest rooms and suites, luxury villas, a golf course, a casino, a water park, and townhouses and apartments." It's composed of a $1.4 billion development on an island and a $4.7 billion deal for a stretch of protected coastline.

The Albanian people have every right to be angry. Kushner and his slimy business partners are trying to despoil and exploit the natural beauty of their country to create a playground for the rapist billionaires, pedophiles, war criminals, and human traffickers of the Epstein Class. We know all too well now what the top 1% of the 1% actually do behind closed doors. No sane person would want these monsters in their country.

"There was no public consultation whatsoever. There was nobody who was informed," said Aleksandr Trajce, executive director of the conservation group Protection and Preservation of the Natural Environment in Albania. "Just one day, we saw bulldozers entering outside, opening up roads, cutting trees, destroying the dunes, and so on. So the public knew nothing."

At this rate, it seems inevitable that the Albanian government will be forced to cave to the demands of the electorate. In addition to the public backlash, the EU has warned Albania that Kushner's project could endanger their admission to the Union because it runs afoul of environmental rules.

The pressure is building. Keep it up. Albania, we stand with you!
