Teachers, this year more than ever you may feel like you have no control. But remember you are in charge of your:
*Attitude
* How you treat others
* Self care
* Self talk
* Gratitude
* Body language
* Joy / never let others steal it!
I don’t want to improve students’ math, literacy, science, physical education, arts, geography, or history scores.
I want to encourage students to be mathematicians, authors, scientists, athletes, musicians, artists, travellers, and historians.
I’ve learned a lot of things as a principal… but the big one is this: Teachers are the most important resource in the school. They need to be supported, encouraged, and celebrated. They drive the school.
When you leave this world, what matters is not your material possession or your wealth but your words and actions that have touched the hearts and lives of others. These continue to live on long after you've gone.
