Newsrooms do it every day through stealth editing. Paragraphs vanish, headlines swap, and meaning flips without a single editor’s note. Absolute power belongs to whoever controls the server.

Here's the even more terrifying part: that’s human-run. And humans have found a way to track those stealth edits. But once we hand those systems over to AI, which will soon be able to outsmart us, will anyone know the changes it makes?
