@gurry42069 @illyism It’s not, it’s phenomenally stupid, immediately debunked by anyone with half a brain cell, and is absolutely necessary for the current landscape where claims need to be increasingly clearly bad to get any attention.
@madsagascar Everything Everywhere All at Once. Though if you mean literally dazzling I’d suggest Mind Game, though that came out way closer to Jurassic Park than present day but it also feels absurdly ahead of its time.
@flmfrkcentral @mangiotto I’ll have to revisit the first one as well. For whatever reason I just couldn’t get in to it. I think I dismissed it as too creepypasta-coded to take seriously. Really enjoyed the second right off though. Loving this glut of relentlessly stylish nihilistic movies this year.
Mark my words, if we’re not already there now we’re at most a year away from every dockerized legacy app needing to be run in a another container to insulate the busted ass legacy app’s dockerized OS from security vulnerabilities. Moore’s law induces demand for the stupidest shit
@mangiotto Great class! Didn’t have time to mention this but textiles and especially looms were seemingly a big deal roundabout and before it was made, or at least I infer as much because the Toyota museum in Nagoya is huge and like 45% of the floor space is cars while 55% is looms.
@miskiart Weird question… do you have any yahaha pins squirreled away? My guess is no but I thought I’d ask since I bought one years ago that my spouse loved dearly but it came off of their lanyard at some point in the intervening time.
Played what I assume is at least 75% of @coalsupper’s Thank Goodness You’re Here in one sitting tonight. What a game! Like a whole Spike and Mike’s film festival or an extended Felix Cosgrove animation squished into a tidy package while being its own glorious thing.
@flmfrkcentral @mangiotto I am jet lagged to hell and not to put too fine a point on it, but the movie and this review fucked me up in the best sort of way. Great movie; guttingly insightful criticism. Ya’ll are whip smart and vital.
Perfect Days (2023)
Also when I was walking by a few nights ago some dude totally forgot to lock it when he went in, meaning the walls were still transparent. It’s a magical city.
Public service announcement for we lucky few in the area: someone puked all over the hand railing for the down escalator in Gotanda station. That’s up there as one of the worst things I have ever experienced in a major city.
@BraxtonJs I dunno, like, KH is so locked to that era of graphical fidelity (I know the latest ones look better, but not radically in my memory), and this character seems KH coded, I don’t really see the dissonance for anybody born within 13 years of… 2002-2020?
Retro:G in Akihabara has a green standup vector version of this driving game but Mikado Game Center in Takadanobaba has it as a cocktail cab (never seen a cocktail driving game) and I was was not prepared for these delightful little controls.
