The name Lake Ontario comes from the Wendat word Ontari’io, which, appropriately, means “the lake is beautiful, the lake is big”.

The name is more than 400 years old, predating both the Confederation of Canada and the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America.

We know that America is changing. Their trading relationships, their foreign policies, their national monuments, their hydronyms.

Canadians also know that naming reality means calling it Lake Ontario – then, now and always.

After schools socially transitioned her behind his back and courts authorized testosterone injections against his wishes, the state stripped him of his parental rights. Hoogland was sent to prison for "contempt of court" because he defied a gag order that forbade him from referring to his child as his "daughter" or using female pronouns. By treating his desperate plea to protect his child as a criminal act, the court signalled that the state, not the parent, owned the child.

This is nothing less than the criminalization of parenthood in the face of state-sponsored gender ideology.

Many of you watched my videos in late 2023…
But what you didn't know is that in many of those videos, I was blind.

In late 2023, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

I went from seeing well to becoming partially blind.

But the work couldn't stop.

We had brand commitments, and videos that we had to shoot.

So there I was, in front of the camera, unable to read the script in my hand.

My manager had to read the lines out to me, line by line.

We did take after take.

It got to the point that even my videographer couldn't use the professional lights because my eyes were too sensitive to the brightness.

It was just four of us then:

Me, my manager, videographer, and writer.

They became my eyes when I didn't have mine.

A few days ago, as the director yelled "Action" on a new shoot, I paused.

And then I remembered that I could now see it all.

I'm not just grateful for the vision.

I'm grateful for the people who held the vision when I couldn't see it.

Sometimes, you don't know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

But more importantly, you don't know how blessed you are until you have people who will be strong for you.
