I'm just glad that my Rabb has put me in that position where people younger than I am can use me as a role model.

Na once I took the case personal.

The first thing I did was listen to her and hear her lecture me about how education corrupts a woman.

I didn't argue with her or try to correct her belief because I identify manipulation when I see one.

And I knew her own case is that of manipulation.

Manipulation is the death that kills the soul and mind faster than anything else. Knowing that one is being manipulated does not save one from the claws of manipulation.

Someone might look straight into your eyes and spell it out, loud and clear: “I will manipulate you to the point of tears.” And before you know it, still at that point, you just realize that you are crying.

NOBODY is immune to manipulation. It is a disease of the mind that can infect anyone once they meet the carrier. Even as a professor in manipulative psychology, you can still be manipulated big time. It is that dreadful.

The thing get grade.

It uses your feelings, emotions, and mind as its playing ground.

It is the boldest thief of happiness that stands before you, right in your presence, and tears you apart.

Manipulation can make you believe the world is rectangular in shape. It can make you look into the mirror and see a beast staring right back at you.

Manipulation kills, takes, covers, changes, adds from you while you are there, and you won't be able to help it.

Hence, I did not fight her.

Rather, I went into my professionalism mode, knowing exactly which approach and theory to apply in that situation, and disarmed her. Subsequently, I began to enter her mind until she reached a state of reasoning.

Eventually, she overcame the phase, and only then did I ask her logical questions like: If we all decided to abandon education, who would be the doctors when we need treatment? Or midwives when we need to give birth? Who will be this and that? Who will represent us in places where Muslims need spokespersons? Who will explain financial policies and every necessary sector?

And I gave her logical instances of Muslim women who compiled knowledge, who built businesses, who founded institutions, who performed jihad so impactful that generations benefit till this very day.

I let her know that jihad is not in making your parents sad, abandoning your education, or birthing children you can't feed.

Rather, jihad is in how much you contribute to the Ummah; how you benefit yourself, your household, your neighborhood, and the Ummah at large.

At the end of the day, and after many, many sessions, she was out of that dark phase, walillāhi-l-ḥamd, and she soon went back to class.

Even though she almost didn't make it, she worked extremely hard trying to meet up with everything she had missed. For the pre-MB, she ended up writing the exam and passing.

Which was a miracle considering how little time she had to catch up and prepare.

But regardless, she made it. Though, given how brilliant she was, she would have made distinctions with adequate preparation.

In the sessions that followed, we have continued to work through remaining grounded, focused, and early preparation for her MB exam, which comes up next month.

And I must say that she is now very, very prepared.

May ALLAAH grant her and everyone writing the exam success.

The point of this post is that everyone with teenage daughters in the university should be on the lookout because these people are back, corrupting young girls and derailing them from the path of success, manipulating them into dropping out and entering into sham marriages.

Never abandon your impressionable teenage daughters at school for too long.

Constantly check on them. Weekend visit is very crucial. If they can't come home, try go to them.

If possible, have them go to school from home so you can instantly know when there's a problem.

Here's a few important points before I go to sleep:

1. Iran won the war. The terms of the ceasefire they shared give them control of the Strait of Hormuz, charging $2M per ship, pocketing $100 Billion a year.

Those numbers are wild!

And on top of it, the ceasefire proposal includes the lifting of all sanctions

Remember, one could say Iran has been in a state of war for decades due to the crippling American sanctions, and now this is all coming to an end

2. Trump did the right thing pulling out, not listening to the lunatic war mongers around him, and not listening to anyone in the Israeli lobby that may have wanted the war the continue.

As I said earlier today, a good leader knows when to walk away

3. I am not surprised we have a deal, I've mentioned it all day, as Trump's posts made it obvious to me he was pressuring Iran for some final concessions before accepting his off-ramp

4. Trump will twist this into a win, and his diehard supporters will believe him. This is a GOOD thing, as Trump no longer needs to militarily try to get a 'win'.

As I've said earlier in the day, Trump can (and just did) create his own offramp.

5. The Middle East will never look the same. I expect the Gulf to gradually normalize relations again with Iran, which started after Israel's strike on Qatar.

Also the balance of power will drastically shift away from Israel, and this may have massive positive implications on Lebanon, Syria, and possibly even Palestine.

6. China is the BIGGEST winner, as Iran controlling the Strait of Hormuz means China is indirectly controlling it

7. Iran's control of the Strait of Hormuz is a generational strategic loss for the U.S., and a risk to the dollar dominance (Iran can chip away at the Petrodollar)

8. Hezbollah will come out stronger from all this, possibly more powerful than it has been in decades (unless the deal involves Iran disbanding their proxy network)

9. I'm exhausted and need to sleep. Below there's some more info on my stance over the past 24 hours, as well as how we broke the story of a ceasefire almost an hour before any media outlet and Trump's post.
