A wonderful first session on the PgCert, meeting some of our excellent new students, discussing music, autism, absolute pitch, zygonic theory and name that tune! #musicinclusion#specialmusicalabilitiesandneeds
@BeccaAMGrant In special schools in particular, it seems that the term “Teaching Assistant” is a weak and undervalued title. Wonderful you appreciate them 🙂
@sensory__art I’ve just got a basic one that you can clip on to a surface, about £25 I think. A practice amp should do it but it depends on the size of the room and the noise levels🙂
@sensory__art Cool 🙂👍🏼Also how about attaching a contact mic with an amplifier to a surface that children can make marks on? Then they can hear the sensory sounds as they make the marks on the paper, table etc 🤗
@CostaCoffee I wish there was better quality and consistency with the drinks machines, the machines are so easy to use but it’s often hit and miss and far from the quality of a hand made beverage. Care and cleaning has to be priority ....I wish you could bridge the gap! #Coffeelover
Thank you Mrs H. for your kindness and support during my time at St Francis! Wishing you all the very best for the future, you will be greatly missed! 🥰
It is with great sadness that we say Adieu to Mrs Hoffmann as she retires from St Francis School after 24 years at the Helm. An amazing Captain that has nurtured her crew every day in every way. We will miss her greatly but wish her all the very best for the future!! 🥰
@JodieSmitten @jo3grace Sounds wonderful but when is there ever enough money for staffing ratios that can provide real sense of quality and creative exploration for children and staff ? There is great work happening but people burnout and get exhausted!
1. Recognising great music ....@weareshura
2. Sharing great music with friends...@weareshura
3. Trying to get some sort of recognition by praising talented artists @weareshura
