I've always loved this hypnotic track from Lush's album Spooky.
The guitar chords float above a relentless bass line. See it here:

The Beatles’ “And I Love Her” has a sneaky half-step key change hiding in plain sight.
It starts around E / C♯m… then suddenly:
E → F?!
I made a Harmoniscope visualization so you can actually see the key move.

I took a closer look at the harmony in Lush's "For Love" and tried visualizing it—honestly gave me a whole new appreciation for this excellent song.

@berenyi_miki Saw them once only in '93 or so. What left me in awe was that she was improvising the whole time! (And Robin would give me a funny glance as if to say, "Why are you looking at me? I'm just playing guitar!"
@berenyi_miki The first time I heard the Cocteaux, I thought, "Oh, two singers! One's voice is very pleasant, but I'm not crazy about the one with the lower voice!" Had no idea it was only ever Liz!
@berenyi_miki I've loved your music for so many years... so I hope you'll please forgive me for suggesting the following minor correction (for Moose): The G# chord (aka Ab) in "For Love" should always be minor (G#m or Abm) except in twice-occurring little bridge (major).
So @pfizer 's ad featuring "jazz musicians" for their drug Abrysvo is not using actual musicians. Watch any of them play, and you can see what I mean. Example: The bassist is only touching the strings with his right hand. Not plucking.
So I must ask: @pfizer, is it really that hard to find actual pro musicians for these ads?

Babies were beheaded. 40 children were murdered. The Palestinians have very real issues. They do not need a terrorist organization to discredit those issues, which is what has happened. Not only the Israelis, but also the Palestinians, need to destroy Hamas.
