Treasure Okegbola developed a machine learning model that detects malaria from blood samples.

We ran a live test today, and it was amazing.

She will be training it on other diseases so that people can run quality and free tests in their homes. It can then detect even diseases people may not be aware of.

She says this will be her way of supporting poor families who can’t afford quality healthcare or are afraid to do tests because of cost.

I have always known that Treasure will make a great impact in the world.

You are missing the actual story. After decades of "pastor Bob needs a new jet" and hearing "Jesus is my boyfriend" not to mention maniacal screaming and badly done pop music in disco churches, Africans are abandoning this empty materialistic strain of American type stadium religiosity and going back to the ancient faith i.e. Catholicism, Anglicanism, Scottish Presbyterianism, Lutheranism and old school Methodist.

In fact the Russian Orthodox Church which is just 3 years in the continent has swept across the continent from Malawi to Sudan.

The people crave a meaningful metaphysics. And America hasn't provided that.

I think we can make the argument between either medical insanity, as the doctor suggests, or good ol’ stupidity arising from exposing someone with dangerously low IQ and EQ to unaccountable powers and wealth.

Either ways, the cure is the same.

Every Nigerian politician should show demonstrable level of competence, intelligence, and exposure.

You don’t make thugs and village men Governors and Ministers and expect that they will suddenly become Lee Kuan Yew.

Researchers cut open the brains of Alzheimer’s patients and found a bacteria living inside 90% of them.

It’s the exact same bacteria that lives in your mouth right now.

For decades, medicine treated Alzheimer’s as an unavoidable genetic flaw or a random protein glitch.

The leading theory blamed "amyloid plaques”, sticky protein buildups that choke off brain cells. Big Pharma spent billions trying to destroy these plaques.

Almost every single drug trial failed.

A groundbreaking study published in Science Advances revealed why.

The protein plaques aren't the primary cause of the disease.

They are the brain's desperation defense mechanism against an invader.

The culprit is Porphyromonas gingivalis, a common bacterium that thrives in infected gums.
