A study looking at the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine was published Tuesday after it was blocked from being included in a weekly report from the federal government. https://t.co/GKfnu75t0e
@ABC A good day for voter rights.
1. Half of the American population doesn’t have a passport.
2. Women who changed their name from marriage would be in eligible unless they did a lot of extra paperwork because their birth certificate has a different name.🚩🆘
BREAKING: A federal judge has permanently blocked the Trump administration from enforcing an executive order signed last year that required proof of citizenship to register to vote and demanded mail-in ballots be received by Election Day. https://t.co/I78dhdVBvz
Anthropic CEO Amodei: Russia invading Ukraine, the risk of China invading Taiwan. That's the authoritarian bloc we defend against.
We can't let China and Russia use AI to attack Ukraine and Taiwan while we can't defend them. Not for the money, government networks pay little.1/
Fun Fact: Republican think tank The Heritage Foundation found since 1999 there were 77 cases that undocumented immigrants illegally voted in our federal elections versus billions of votes. That's about .00000000678% risk of fraud.
FYI there was only 99 cases since 1982 according to the Heritage foundation.
138 Republicans illegally voted in 2025 election.
#BREAKING: Hayes: “Acting AG Todd Blanche told Congress not to worry about the $1.8 billion slush fund for insurrectionists…The DOJ then told the court the same thing—don’t worry, it’s moot, it’s dropped, and then last week, the judge said okay, fine, put it in writing. She ordered Blanche and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and an associate AG to all sign ‘a declaration under the penalty of perjury, they will not take any action to create or operate the anti-weaponization fund and that the anti-weaponization fund will not proceed in any manner or under any name.’ Well, today was the deadline for that and guess what? They came back to the court and they said no, we’re NOT doing it. We’re NOT filing any declaration to officially kill the fund, which probably means the slush fund is NOT dead.”🙄🤦♀️
In the old USSR, people could be arrested for photographing bridges, tunnels, etc. A repressive and paranoid regime assumed the photographers must be spies and saboteurs. Americans laughed at such petty tyranny. Nothing like that could happen in their free country! Until now.
The FBI wouldn't spend $100,000 to chase a lead in the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping, per TMZ.
Kash Patel had plenty for himself — date nights with his girlfriend, golf in Scotland, a hunting lodge, all on a $60 million private jet funded by taxpayers.
MASSIVE NEWS!!! The country the US was bombing in February just got a signed Treasury license to pump and sell oil to the world. It runs 60 days, to August 21. The license text allows settlement in dollars and even imports into the United States.
One word separates this from everything before it: production. All through the war, Washington licensed Iranian oil too, but only the barrels already sitting on tankers, frozen at sea. Bessent called it "using the Iranian barrels against the Iranians," dumping trapped crude to push prices down while the strikes continued. That was a weapon. This authorizes Iran to produce, to pump fresh and bank the proceeds. The weapon became the reward.
Be precise about what that reward is. Iran was already selling roughly 1.5 million barrels a day to China in the dark, transponders off, sold at a steep discount. This license does not turn on a tap that was closed. It legalizes the shadow trade and lets Iran sell in daylight at full price. The relief is the premium, not the permission.
And the trade underneath the deal is the part that matters. America did get something concrete for it: nuclear inspectors back in for the first time since 2025, and the Strait of Hormuz reopening. So this is not pure surrender. It is an exchange, verifiable inspections and an open strait, paid for in legitimized oil money.
But the money moved first. Iran's revenue switched on this week. Israel, the one combatant that never signed, is still disputing the Lebanon terms. And Iran's president flies to Pakistan tomorrow, to the mediator, not to Washington. Iran got the check. Everyone else got a clock to August 21.
Absolutely insane revelations about Tulsi Gabbard.
Throughout her public life, she's been a puppet for a Hindu cult.
Washington Post got access to 25,000 pages of documents including directives from Tulsi Gabbard's cult leader telling her which policy positions to take and how to present herself throughout her career.
It matches her record in Congress. At one point, she was instructed to say "It’s not a ‘boohoo, I don’t get to go to the party’ situation, Wolf" during a CNN interview, and used that exact phrase. This is one of several examples of her taking direct orders about what to say on TV. They told her what to tweet about too.
The cult set up fake accounts to boost her on social media. Gabbard was aware, at one point telling them to add a photo to a profile.
An email records a phone call where she was yelled at, but Tulsi is reminded at the end that "we still love you."
This woman was always a freak, which is why she ended up in the MAGA coalition. Anti-vaxxers, criminals, racist, and a woman in a weird cult all end up as allies. Trumpism is Kakistocracy.
Step 1: Remove filters in Reflecting Pool because Obama put them in.
Step 2: Give your criminal neighbor who runs "Greenwater Services" a $20 million no-bid contract to paint the pool.
Step 3: Fill the pool with water from the Potomac River, the phosphates from which cause algae blooms.
Step 4: Freshly sealed pool and extreme heat result in a super scum event
Step 5: Direct National Park Service to dump hydrogen peroxide into the pool which causes the paint to peel.
Step 5: Deploy US National Guard to stop people from taking photos of the swamp as a perfect metaphor for the administration.
Step 6: Blame someone else.
The one question I’ve never seen an AI bro answer successfully:
If AI is so groundbreaking and brilliant, why can’t it design a way to run without giant data centers, massive amounts of electricity, and enormous quantities of water?
It can’t even solve its own resource problem.
Why do you expect it to solve ours?
This is the judge who ruled that a woman was not allowed to speak her abuser's name out loud. Forever. Past, present, and future.
If she wanted to warn another woman about the man who hurt her, she faced $10,000 in fines and jail time for each warning.
In countries that have successfully reversed democratic backsliding in recent years—from Poland in 2023 to Hungary in 2026—opposition movements made prosecuting those who have broken laws a central campaign issue.
Video footage posted earlier on Chinese TikTok shows the moment that a Russian surface-to-air missile suffered a major mechanical failure during today’s large-scale Ukrainian drone and missile attack against Moscow, causing the missile to strike and blow the top off of a tank at the Moscow Oil Refinery.
