@OP81con Oscar is just consistently a small margin behind Lando. The H2H skews the reality. Yes Lando is clearly ahead atm, but it’s not like he’s crushing Oscar
@Leakyfaucetdo @f1lvmegan Red Bull had the fastest car on average through 2024 but McLaren had the best car for most races. Bare in mind when McLaren came good so did Ferrari and Mercedes (occasionally).
@Luke4468@blamezainn The McLaren’s were suffering break issues in the wet conditions, both of them struggled. By that logic Verstappen also isn’t an S tier wet weather driver because of his god awful turkey 2020 race.
@SleepyPixie277@McLarenF1_News Brazil was a good hunting down but during the rain we had no confidence in our breaks, and our wing change hurt us. We also hurt ourselves with a wing change, but what’s good is that this should’ve been where Ferrari really should’ve closed on us, they didn’t too much.
@reyakiruforever McLaren were the fastest team on 3 occasions this year. Red Bull was fastest on 6, and Ferrari 3. The McLaren is the most consistent car but not “dominant” by any means.
@KanaMasumi @blessedhrry @TheMcLarenZone @Planet_F1 Red Bull was founded by a Thai gentleman. Mateschitz was only a distributor. In your view Red Bull should play the Thai national anthem when they win.
@MollyFS44@chelsearingrose@mama_gforce@malukasdavid@MeyerShankRac Basically he couldn’t and wouldn’t give McLaren a timeframe on his recovery. So they had to make a choice and put someone more permanent in the no.6. They really didn’t want to let him go. It’s a genuine shame, as the no.6 is stuck at the very back of the grid now :(
