@THR 'Doesn't like to use visual effects'? George Miller's recent works all use extensive VFX. Fury Road had like 2000+ CGI shots. What kind of morons do you have writing for your publication @THR? Not even basic research. Just shit on VFX and CGI for no damn reason. Imbeciles.
@DrawsTom@adamhlavac It being for a specific audience doesn't excuse a bad movie. Also, it's not like it's ideas are very deep, it's pretty obvious what it's about. It's just executed in the most pretentious, wannabe lynchian manner with none of the latter's sense of craft.
@MrEricMartin There is no such thing as CGI fatigue. That's just nonsense. Both Godzilla x Kong and Kingdom of the planet of the apes had a ton of CG. Both were among the biggest hits of the year.
@MrEricMartin This is such a dumb take. Good CG is there in every movie out there. Kingdom of the planet of the apes had a ton of CG, and it was a hit. Also, no one looks at the sandworms in Dune thinking it looks 'handmade'. Y'all just love to shit on CG for no damn reason.
