Lady p/w acute on chronic plantar fascia pain came into the ED last night. Didn’t want any pain medications, perfect pt for some OMT! Pain significantly improved after treatment and quick discharge home w/ stretching exercises/lacrosse ball massage instructions 💪🏼

Every medical school should have a "Financial grand rounds" during M1 and again at the beginning of M4 year so we can learn how to PRACTICALLY save money or borrow less.
- Saving money on food/rent/transportation
- Credit card churning/miles for interviews

I’ve noticed that hearing loss is a huge barrier to healthcare in the hospital! These older folks are only understanding like every 3rd word, maybe 😭 even with hearing aids in. Can’t read lips with the masks also.

@ljgw202 Try to work some night shifts!! Highly recommend, saw some really interesting stuff at night! “nothing good happens after midnight”Practice suturing to be confident closing up incisions! Always ask about smoking hx, bleeding disorders/blood thinners
