Turn The Spotlight does incredible work. It’s the kind of organization I want to be a part of and help support no matter how busy life gets because we need this work like the air we breathe.
She pivoted to a more intimate realization of her vision, composing and performing a collection of solo pieces that has now been premiered through Taking Imperfect Action Concert Series, staged with Third Eye Theatre Ensemble, and recorded for release on all streaming platforms.

For her Spotlight Project, @Nilou_Nour created Another Birth, the first composition residency at the Afghanistan National Institute of Music.
Nilou mentored 7 young Afghan women to compose solo and chamber pieces. When Kabul fell days before the long-planned premiere concert, Nilou shifted her focus immediately, working tirelessly with activists across the globe to secure safe passage out of Afghanistan for all seven.
