Lamar Jackson says he watched friends chase fast money while he was playing the long game and counting how many years it would take him to reach the NFL
“I’m seeing my friends who I was growing up with who I was playing football with… Just throw their life away for fast money and stuff like that. They used to tell me Oh, you talk too much’. Because I used to always speak about football and positivity stuff. They didn’t want to hear that.”
“Now it’s like… They’d rather hear it now because I’m Lamar Jackson. But I’ve been speaking about it. Everybody just wasn’t listening. I was already seeing what was going on. I wish we could go back in time and y’all could see what I was seeing. Because I always looked at life like, I counted years.”
“Like I would think… ‘How many years does it take to get to the league?’ They’re saying… ‘You do three years in college.’ I said… ‘I’m doing three years.’ I’m not doing four. I’m not trying to go fifth year. I’m doing three years because I’m going to make sure my family is good.”
“If you’re coming from a place like where I come from, don’t try to be like the guys around you. Don’t look up to the stuff that looks like it’s fun… Because sometimes it gets you in trouble.”
“It’s sacrificing. ‘Man, I can’t have fun right now. I’ve got to get my family right. I can’t do this right now. I can’t mess up.’ Forget the fast money. I’ve got to think about longevity.”
“You can get locked up and do five years for $1,000. That money gone. It’s gone. You’re like… ‘Man, I just did that for $1,000…’ And I could have waited five years and I would’ve had $10 million.”
“That’s why I’m where I’m at right now. That’s how I used to think. My mom working… She’s busting her behind. It’s me, my brother and my two sisters at home. I’m the oldest…”
“So I’ve got to make sure everybody right. And it’s like… Man, I can’t wait, but I’ve got to wait. That’s the sacrifice. I’ve got to be patient. People don’t look at it like that. It’s like… ‘Man, I need that money right now.’ But you don’t need that money right now. Just wait.”
Can’t believe it’s 2026 and the masses still don’t know air fried potatoes are the BIGGEST weight loss hack known to man

DeenTheGreat WASN’T HAVING IT after finding out the girl who was trying to SUE Adrien Broner for SA tried to get on their yacht for a party again 👀
“Hey there’s a girl on there that we can’t be with though, that’s her, she tryna sue AB”

what I love about black people is they’re more prone to speaking their mind
he understood as much of Nietzsche as your average right wing redpill bro or your average SF tech bro
only difference is that all those chuds sit and pretend like they know what Nietzsche is talking about while they don’t know shit
you even got billionaires like Marc Andreesen going on podcasts pretending like they understand Nietzsche
but in reality Marc understands less of Nietzsche than the guy in this video
as being straight up is the true essence of the Nietzschean, thus this man right understands Nietzsche better than all of San Francisco and he hasn’t even realized it
he read a couple of pages and already understood Nietzsche in a way that those lying technohomos never will

CJ Stroud before the draft came out of Ohio State and scored 18 out of 100 on the S2 cognition test which is basically an exam that NFL teams use to measure how fast a quarterback processes information. Bryce Young who was picked 1 pick ahead of him scored a 98 out of 100. Stroud’s score was the lowest score of any QB coming out of that draft class. And yesterday he got mocked for a warmup that went viral with his eyes. He got mocked for his cognition test and now the internet is trolling him for working on one of the most important parts of being a QB… the brain. But what is he actually doing?
The drill is called “saccades” and there is real sports science and data behind it. After looking this up and trying to keep it concise and easy to understand here is what I found. A saccade is the fast, involuntary jump your eyes make when they snap from one target to another, which is exactly what a quarterback's eyes do on every dropback as he moves from his first read to his second to his checkdown in under three seconds. Stroud holds his thumbs out and flicks his eyes between them, horizontally and then vertically, training those jumps to be faster and more controlled. It’s part of the same screening doctors use to check for a concussion, and there are vision training companies that now sell a version of this to QBs to speed up how fast they can process a defense pre snap.
But what makes this all funny is three years ago the sports world decided Stroud’s processing was a weakness. Now he’s putting in the work and has turned into a meme. Now, I do understand the video is pretty funny but got to give Stroud some credit here because when he came out of Ohio State he dismissed his test score as well.
Stroud is coming off a rough season that ended with four interceptions in a playoff loss to New England, and he has plenty to prove in 2026. But a QB quietly drilling the one skill that decides games, the speed of what happens in his brain, is the last thing anyone should be clowning, plus the one thing that cost Stroud in the playoffs was processing and decision making. Glad to see him putting in the work.
