Software engineer at a YC-backed startup, building remotely from India. Been working with global teams since high school, learned early that geography doesn't limit ambition. Interested in startups and the intersection of technology and business.
bro created an AI job search system for Claude Code that scored 700+ job applications and actually got him a job.
AND IT'S NOW OPEN-SOURCE.
It scans multiple company career pages, rewrites your CV per job, and even fills application forms. The repo has:
> 14 skill modes (evaluate, scan, PDF, ...)
> Go terminal dashboard
> ATS-optimized PDF generation via Playwright
> 45+ companies pre-configured (Anthropic, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Stripe...)

It’s the golden age for startups that turn latent LLM capability and intelligence into actual adoption
Will be like working on mobile apps in 2009 or the web in 2003
Working on AI-assisted credit analysis taught me this the hard way. Financial documents aren’t just text they’re structured data with domain specific meaning. A debt covenant clause that looks like boilerplate to a generic model might be the most critical risk signal in the deal. Domain training is the whole game.
AI is reshaping finance but only if it's built with finance in mind.
Problem: Generic AI tools misinterpret finance jargon, struggle with complex instruments (derivatives, debt covenants) and produce misleading outputs.
Solution: A finance-trained LLM understands domain context correctly handles financial instruments, regulatory terms, and produces reliable, domain-aware output.

The best learning feels like struggle, not progress. If the app is optimized to keep you coming back, it’s optimizing for engagement, not education. Different goals.
there's an epidemic of fake learning. duolingo, tiktok, youtube. it's all entertainment cleverly disguised as education. real learning is hard. it's uncomfortable. if it feels 'fun', you probably aren't learning anything.
@paulg Honestly though raising too much creates its own problems. Pressure to deploy, pressure to grow into the valuation, pressure to hire before you need to. Sometimes the best move is just… don’t spend it yet or negotiate down in the first place
