মিরপুরের উচ্ছেদ অভিযান আমাদের বিবেক নাড়িয়ে দিয়েছে। একজন অপ্রাপ্তবয়স্ক শিশুর মুখ চেপে ধরা—এটা কেবল একটি ঘটনার চিত্র নয়, এটি আমাদের সবার বাকস্বাধীনতার উপর সরাসরি আঘাত।
এই শিশুটি কোনো রাজনৈতিক শক���তির অংশ নয়, কোনো বড় স্বার্থের প্রতিনিধি নয়—সে শুধু একজন সাধারণ নাগরিক, যার ছোট্ট বাসস্থান ছিল বস্তির একটি ঝুপড়িতে। ��েই আশ্রয়টুকুও কেড়ে নেওয়া হয়েছে। তার স্বপ্ন ছিল বেঁচে থাকার—কোনো উচ্চাকাঙ্ক্ষী রাজনৈতিক লক্ষ্য নয়।
আমরা অতীতে দেখেছি, নানা ইস্যুতে জনগণকে রাস্তায় নামানো হয়েছে, স্বাধীনতার কথা বলা হয়েছে। কিন্তু আজ কৈ সেই সাধারণ মানুষেরা....

সে কোনো রাজনীতির অংশ নয়—সে একজন গরিব নাগরিক, যার ছোট্ট আশ্রয়টুকুও কেড়ে নেওয়া হয়েছে। প্রশ্ন হলো—গরিব মানুষের কণ্ঠ কে শুনবে?

I am ashamed not shocked. The downfall of this nation has been too damm obvious.Because,

We can go protest infront of bullets for quota reform but not for this girl and all those innocent victims .

We can lose our sleep seeing the destruction of a dead leaders historic house but not for this girl and all those innocent victims.

We can form a human rally stretching hundreds of kilometers to welcome a leader home but not for this girl and all those innocent victims.

We can go avenge against those that speaks/thinks/ wishes against our religion but not for this girl and all those innocent victims.

We are Bangladesh... But I wish Ramisa wasn't Bangladesh. Maybe she would be alive if she was anything but Bangladesh.
