@spoonlocks@jasonrmcintyre 5) I understand the Darnold questions. I’m not 100% confident in him myself.
6) I still think the Seahawks are the best team in the division but the questions raised here seem fair. ( except walker loss )
@spoonlocks@jasonrmcintyre 3) IMO kubiak was the main key to Seahawks making a large jump from McDonald’s first season. It’s fair to question what a new coordinator will bring to table.
4) the schedule is tough. Playing the AFC west and a first place schedule is reason enough to expect a regression.
@RealEstN8@realjeffsimmons@StacyRost Maybe I’m missing more context to what the cbs guy said. But the 2 pt play did play a big role in the Seahawks victory and therefor the division.I’m not taking it so literal to say it’s the only reason they won. But the rams controlled the game in both regular season games.
@jimbasnight@PDawg206@UWDP_maxvroom@aaronwbeach The team needed shooting. In today’s era it’s tough to compete without it. Especially since nothing points to Sprinkle ever having a solid defense. Didn’t need another big .
@jimbasnight@PDawg206@UWDP_maxvroom@aaronwbeach Injuries aside. What did you like about the coaching? The last two teams have had no identity. The defense overall is really bad. And I have no idea what we try and do on offense. It’s not pretty. Coaching needs to be much better.
@Clevta I thought it was the right call when watching it live. Seattle run game was a struggle. I was not worried about the Niners scoring a TD. They didn’t score without Kittle. Seahawks D line was a force all game. We had timeouts. The td was a fluke.
@Clevta I think they figure it out. Coordinator upgrade from last year. Scheme change will help o line. I expect less sacks given up by a decent margin. They should have won that game IMO. Rookie WR Horton is the downfield option. Defense looked good. I don’t understand Kupp signing.
@2ndChancePoints@ShootyH00ps Overall I agree with your point that this team has a wide variance . Super interesting. But I think the worst outcome for this squad won’t be because of style. This will change . I think JJ plays heavy minutes and will help spacing.
@2ndChancePoints Got it. Based on everything I’ve been seeing from Sprinkle this offseason I don’t think this will be the case. They simply lacked guard talent and had to play that way to keep it close. Now it’s night and day difference. Tempo will be pushed . More possessions. It’s major focus
@jimbasnight@world_uw@UW_MBB Well good thing UW roster is deep & flexible and can also be big. I don’t know all the big 10 rosters but UW has to be one of the tallest.
@jimbasnight@world_uw@UW_MBB You don’t need more space eaters when you are trying to play much faster and more aggressive and Increase number of possessions. They likely play more small than big. But have flexibility to do both. Frank and Somerville will not be on floor at same time.
@jimbasnight@world_uw Disagree on everything. Ya, who wouldn’t want a big that can pass and instigate offense at top of the key that can also play D? How many of those guys are available? We have plenty of depth in the front court right now. We need more shooters and wing D over another big.
@jimbasnight@world_uw Uw is plenty deep in the front court already. Only so many minutes to go around. Why would a high impact big want to come be insurance policy in case someone gets hurt? If anything we need defensive wing / shooter. But roster seems set.
@jimbasnight@world_uw This helps alleviate need for more guys that can handle the ball. But it’s a moot point because I would also take more vet guards.
@jimbasnight@world_uw I haven’t checked the stats but uw runs much more modern offense. Spacing is a million times better. They are getting more assists / less turnovers.
They don’t shoot a ton of 3’s because they can’t shoot. They get to the rack and get founded a ton. (But can’t shoot FT)
