Methodist bishop to Onaiyekan: You can have your preferred presidential candidate — don't run down others
Stephen Adegbite, Methodist bishop and executive secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), has told Cardinal John Onaiyekan that supporting a preferred presidential candidate should not translate to disparaging other contenders.
Adegbite spoke on Friday during an interview on TVC, while reacting to recent remarks by Onaiyekan, former archbishop of Abuja, following the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the State House.

I am in Osun State to support our great party, the APC, and campaign for its governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), ahead of the August 15 governorship election.
I have urged Edo indigenes resident in Osun and the good people of the state to support a leader with the vision, competence, and commitment to deliver sustainable development and improve the lives of the people. I am confident that AMBO will provide purposeful leadership and move Osun State to greater heights.
I wish him and our great party a resounding victory at the polls.

Saul is directing an independent law‑enforcement agency. So @officialEFCC has turned into a tool for targeting opposition states, until the mannequin in the villa gives instructions.
There comes a point in the journey of every nation when its people wake up and say, “Enough is enough.”
President Tinubu in a phone conversation with Governor Ademola Adeleke on Thursday informed him about his directive to the EFCC to lift the court order on the Osun State Government account
WE WILL NOT ALLOW APC TO TAKE OSUN BACK TO THE DAYS WHEN CIVIL SERVANTS HAD TO BEG THEIR NEIGHBOURS FOR FOOD.
I call on the good people of Osun State to brace up for just a few more days.
Those who once weaponized poverty by paying workers half salaries, leaving civil servants to struggle to feed their families, and denying our people access to basic necessities are desperate to return to inflict more pain.
We must never go back to those dark days.
On August 15, I urge every eligible voter to send a clear and resounding message that Osun has chosen the path of progress, compassion, and good governance.
Together, we will protect the mandate of the people and keep Osun moving forward ACCORDINGLY.
Ipa: refers to a medical condition causing severe swelling of the scrotum or testicles...
Meaning: What good has a swelling disease of the testicles (ipa) ever done for a pair of trousers (sokoto)?
Because a person suffering from this condition (onipa) requires abnormally large or specially tailored trousers to accommodate the swelling, the disease hasn't done any "favor" for the trousers... 😂
