Ariko, Where were these ‘Sanction Givers’ when over a million of our families were slaughtered in the 1994 Genocide perpetrated against the Tutsi? Why didn’t they sanction themselves for watching a GENOCIDE happen in real time and doing NOTHING? They watched the very killers FDLR, find refuge, regroup, and continue their atrocities. THREAD: I have spent months investigating the foreign mercenaries in DR Congo. I met some of them in Romania & Goma. One Romanian mercenary’s salary equaled that of 50 Congolese soldiers. The government says they are just 'instructors' but this is not entirely true @BBCAfrica.

We won’t see these images on European TVs when they talk about the Congo crisis. Instead, they’ll show you a crying child or a struggling mother—never their mercenaries fleeing in shame. Their superiority complex won’t allow them to broadcast their own defeats.

By the way, each was paid $8,000 on monthlybasis, and there are hundreds of them. They were defeated at the end of the month—who will pocket their salaries in Kinshasa? Remember, some M23 soldiers who defected from the FARDC in 2012 are still on the payroll.
