Members of @TUGSA_62 @tuuwoc & TAUP stood together on Monday, announcing a vote of no confidence in some senior leadership at Temple. (You'll probably see it tonight on the news! 📰 )
✊ APRIL 2 @ 7:30 ✊
Join speakers from student worker unions for a workshop on STRIKE READINESS.
As more student worker unions win recognition and prepare to bargain, there is no better time than now to learn how to strike and win big.
The students at @TempleUniv have been uncompromising in their support of our strike. They know that our working conditions are their learning conditions, and they showed up to prove it time and time again! Shout out to @TempleUSC@TUUWOC for their unwavering solidarity.

After four days of voting, membership has RATIFIED the March 9th Tentative Agreement 344-8. This ratification landslide and the gains of our new Collective Bargaining Agreement are a historic achievement for our union.

"To Wingard, graduate students are not a constituency essential to the functioning of the university who must be bargained with and brought back; rather, they are 'human capital' that needs to be written off." @MEASeybold on the Temple University strike. https://t.co/tsOUnPeTu7
‼️ TODAY ‼️
Regardless of anything Temple’s administration says, the @TUGSA_6290 strike is NOT over.
If you are an undergraduate student, JOIN US to learn how YOU can show solidarity with your RAs and TAs.
We will meet at 5pm at the Mazur Hall Terrace.
Organizer from @TUGSA_6290 thanks the new Temple undergraduate workers union @TUUWOC for showing solidarity- promises an upcoming rally will feature the infamously beloved Scabby The Rat.
"We started a union [@TUUWOC] for @TempleUniv undergraduate workers bc we don't make a living wage either... we are advocating for a $15/hr minimum wage for all campus employees... too many of us make different amounts for the same job."

Sorry if this grosses out some people. But what’s actual gross is a policy that is a joke for women post labor and families as a whole.
