@MatthewMarks42@spudferret1879@davidburchael This is the funny irony about people wanting cyclists insured. We all are can't afford not to be, can't be a member of a club or organisation with out it
@MatthewMarks42@spudferret1879@davidburchael See id argue 'cyclists' do. Not just people who commute to work on a bike. But cyclists the people who do it as a hobby the lycra clad ones. My experience of two different clubs I've been in is exactly that. Also at sportives just expensive bikes
@uploaded73@Carsofglasgow1 Perhaps it was a typo and he meant removing some, so less people can park for the off chance of someone using an unnecessarily large vehicle can feel more comfortable
@Username3897819@Berrrbi@H_Ho11and@checkingoutie Tbf I mostly shop at Sainsbury's but when I go in m&s it is literally the same price but I come away feeling it's cheaper. But if I ever go Aldi/Lidl I always come out not believing how expensive it was ๐
@spudferret1879@davidburchael I read it with the implication that those that don't drive are ignorant to what drivers want, I drive way more than I cycle but I'd never expect anyone to get out of my way because I'm coming through
@jqbcn@NathanOlney I did this to the tomato festival about 15 years ago and we had to drive the cars back as well but yeah it was scrapped when we got home.
@420AuditsEire@The_cynical_Ben What do you mean when they start getting injured. People like you already kill 5 people a day here. Surely you murderous drivers should pay even more tax for killing on a daily basis. Also I pay my council tax every month which actually pays for the roads
@RobertW74006230@Rossmac212 That's not what I'm suggesting. I've met people it's the minority that are decent. A similar percentage of people who do every thing all break the rules at the same rates, you're unlucky if you come across those people but there is a difference in the danger and what they're on
@RobertW74006230@Rossmac212 Nah I just find it interesting how you can absolutely remember a road death from a couple years ago but the 5 a day that have happened since weren't point scoring enough to remember.
@ByromPb@Rossmac212 Alright Paul, I remember you from the parade calm down. You didn't have a choice either when you saw all your fellow reds and ploughed them down eh?
@RobertW74006230@Rossmac212 So he recieved some kind of justice. It's amazing how much it imprints when a cyclist kills, everyone remembers it but no one remembers or cares for the 5 people a day car drivers kill. I just don't get it
@Olsburger@therealmissjo In the UK, you aren't allowed to go over a raised kerb like that to reach your property. So it is illegal but unless their neighbour is a councillor who took offence or such like they wouldn't get a fine
@HLTCO The unfortunate thing about this everyone has a different view because of how they use the roads, my hobbies are dog walking and cycling so every time I leave the house for fun I'm in constant danger so my view is massively skewed
@HLTCO If drivers didn't kill 5 people a day in the uk then I'd be with you, but no one should be lauded just for not breaking the law. We should just be able to do that with out having a pat on the back
