@ValentinaForUSA@JimLaPorta@JimLaPorta is a phenomenal journalist, who honorably served his country as a United States Marine! All he did here is point out the danger of jumping to conclusions and spreading unfounded allegations. Perhaps you should try a more tactful response.
@TheFarRightSide You realize sheโs a human being, right? I couldnโt care less about whether or not you served in the military but how about some decency towards another human, whom youโve never even met. Whatโs to gain from being an asshole and calling her a thing.
@MTGrepp@clownworld So on Veterans Day, you cite the man who called dead military members โlosersโ and openly mocked Gold Star families as a wonderful man? You can like him and want him to be President, thatโs your prerogative, but calling him wonderful is insane.
Congratulations to @mtaibbi on winning the National Journalism Centerโs Dao Prize! Excited to see the Twitter Files receive the adulation it deserves. I canโt thank you enough for allowing me to contribute, it was an honor.
Congratulations to @mtaibbi , @bariweiss & @shellenberger for winning the first annual Dao Prize from the National Journalism Center tonight in recognition of their reporting on the Twitter Files
Proud to know them all, proud to be here tonight
This matters
@HuntClancy Love the one at Stanford! I never knew the โThinking Manโ represented Dante contemplating his Inferno. Rodinโs sculpture garden is incredible as well.
@HuntClancy How dare you take something dangerous like mushrooms into the defense industryโs safe space! Canโt afford to have such hazards around while peddling weapons.
@davis_winkie Wouldn't it make sense to capitalize on this time of relative peace by allowing personnel numbers to naturally downsize? Also, decrease defense spending, push efforts to reform and modernize the force, focus on the retention of quality leaders, etc.
@just_grimm@MilitaryTimes The military tells you not to get injured? As opposed to all civilian jobs where injury is a requirement?
Seems pretty callous to refer to wounded warriors and POWs as losers, especially when you're the commander-in-chief.
@TaskandPurpose Politicians donโt do their job, everyone complains about it. Politicians try to do their job, everyone complains about it. While I agree that its hypocritical, it doesnโt negate the issue, nor does it mean the legislature shouldnโt uphold its oversight responsibilities.
