Another prominent Minnesota Democrat has surfaced in Nimco Ahmed’s political past: Amy Klobuchar.

Ahmed appears to have worked on Klobuchar’s first U.S. Senate campaign in 2006. Other articles identify her as a staffer. Campaign finance records suggest she was paid nearly $8,000.

The Klobuchar and Flanagan campaigns have not responded to requests for comment.

I searched to try and find the owner of the grocery store but he’s not listed anywhere. I was able to find that the store itself serves the Somali community in Maine so it’s a high likelihood the owner is Somali

The owners of the home health care companies at the grocery store address are Alkarim Muse and Osman Hassan

These at with names extremely common in Somalia

It’s definitely more Somali fraud

The second largest Thomas Massie primary funder, Jeff Yass of Susquehanna International Group (SIG), has a venture capital arm, investing directly in innovative Chinese companies. In Jan 2026, SIG got a board seat at TikTok. In July 2026, SIG just started increasing their Chinese investments. Next came the TikTok suspensions. Was this coincidental?

Thomas Massie got his second largest primary donation from Jeff Yass of Susquehanna International Group. Although this was a personal donation, it was still made from a founder of SIG with a China arm. So take away from this what you wish. TikTok is the bigger story.

♦️Part 1 Susquehanna International Group (SIG)

Financial powerhouse Susquehanna International Group, an early ByteDance investor and still a current investor, is now central to TikToks new US leadership.

Mark Dooley, managing director at SIG, will represent the firm on TikTok’s US board of directors.

SIG was an early backer of Bytedance. The financial firm SIG, also reportedly owns a 15% stake in ByteDance. Jeff Yass personally owns a 7% stake in the company, worth an estimated $21 billion.

Jeff Yass’s business partner and Susquehanna co-founder and director, Arthur Dantchik, holds a seat on ByteDance's five-member Board of Directors alongside ByteDance CEO Liang Rubo. This places SIG directly inside the top governance structure of a company subject to Chinese domestic data-security laws and state oversight.

Susquehanna signed a lease for three full floors (about 51,762 square feet) at the newly built Cheung Kong Center II skyscraper in Central, Hong Kong.

🗓️ Tripling space: This move effectively triples the quantitative trading firm's footprint in the city to support aggressive local hiring plans.

🎯 Strategic focus: The expansion aims to capture market share in China's rapidly growing Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) ecosystem and cross-border investment flows.

Legal Coercion Laws: Under China's 2017 National Intelligence Law (Article 7) and 2021 Data Security Law, all domestic tech firms (including ByteDance) are legally required to "support, assist, and cooperate with state intelligence work" upon request from the Ministry of State Security (MSS) or Public Security (MPS).

U.S. National Security Assessment: U.S. intelligence agencies (including the FBI and ODNI) explicitly assess that ByteDance’s internal data-sharing pipeline creates a conduit where American user data or algorithmic levers could be accessed or exploited by Chinese intelligence services.

♦️Part 3 Thomas Massie and Jeff Yass of Susquehanna International Group

On Oct. 20 Yass contributed a whopping $7.5 million to a super PAC called Protect Freedom Political Action Committee.

On Oct. 23 Protect Freedom donated $1 million to the new pro-Massie Kentucky First PAC.

Oct. 31 Kentucky First reported paying a bit over $1 million ($1,006,986 to be exact) to a company called Maverix Media, for the pro-Massie media campaign now going on in the district.
