@ShekharGupta Hindutva is the reaction to Islamist fanaticism - RSS was founded by Hegdewar after the 1920s Mopla riots.
There is NO Hindutva targeting of Jains, Parsis, Buddhists, etc. But these communities have disappeared from Pakistan and Bangladesh
In November 1937, The Modern Review, a Kolkata based monthly journal, published an essay titled “The Rashtrapati” under the pseudonym “Chanakya”.
Much later, it was learnt that the author was Jawaharlal Nehru.
BTW, if you had arguments, you would critique me rather than use adjectives. Adjectives are not arguments.
Europeans are slowly learning what Hindus learned in the early 1990s: Muslims do not consider non-Muslims to be human beings; they think we are just part of the flora and fauna, that we are trespassers in their god's universe.
This is the kind of hit back India must also give. Just imagine if MEA quotes some France24 post on India protests now with the message
"ST*U! Watch your backyard first."
We can be assured of hundreds of thousands of likes. The hit will be brutal for the media. But they won't. They will write a long diplomatic article after 100 hitjobs on India by foreign actors, that too if people push them to.
1/5 Sharjeel Imam has given an interview detailing his Islamist manifesto. Surprisingly, no storm has been kicked up over pronouncements that are so unapologetically anti-liberal, anti-secular, anti-democracy, anti-Constitution—in a word, anti-national.
2/5 He openly calls the Constitution fascist, labels secularism a trap, and denounces democracy as a contrivance to deny Muslims their political rights.
3/5 The piece is a litany of indictments against the liberal class. Imam rejects any difference between liberals and Hindutvadis. In his essentialist worldview, all Hindus are the same, unanimous in denying Muslims political power they claim as a divine right.
4/5 Inadvertently, Sharjeel has recognised something that liberals have been fighting shy of acknowledging: that Hindutva’s idea of India is anchored in the same “overarching nationalist framework”— that Muslims are Indians above all else.
5/5 For more, read this Opinion article by Ibn Khaldun Bharati, who looks at Islam from an Indian perspective:
Sharjeel Imam’s Islamist manifesto will be forgotten. The silence of liberals will not

It’s all just an ideology of visceral rage by the stupid, ugly and rapey.
Islam and socialism.
That’s all they’ve ever been, hence fast friends.
Rape cults of the inferior who shud’ve died out, if not for white mans modern medicine and innovations.
It’s ALL whiteys fault.
🚨 NEW: Joe Rogan was in shock when historical storyteller Cody Tucker revealed that Mother Teresa was actually a horrible person who kept dying patients in horrible conditions while massive donations flowed to the Vatican:
TUCKER: “She's a scumbag. Mother Teresa never did anything good.”
CONTEXT: In 1994, a physician named Robin Fox visited Mother Teresa's Home for the Dying in Calcutta.
Fox wasn't some anonymous critic.
He was the editor of The Lancet, one of the world's most prestigious medical journals.
And what he described was deeply troubling.
Medical care was inconsistent.
Some decisions were made by nuns and volunteers without formal medical training.
Basic diagnostic investigations were rarely available.
And the facility did not have strong painkillers in its medication supply.
Fox described a patient with a high fever who initially received paracetamol and an antibiotic before a visiting doctor suspected malaria and changed the treatment.
His central objection was that patients who might have treatable conditions weren't being reliably distinguished from people who were actually dying.
Think about that.
Someone could arrive believing they were receiving medical care when they might have needed a proper diagnosis, referral or treatment.
And this wasn't the only criticism.
In 2013, three Canadian academics published a critical review of Mother Teresa's life and work in the journal Studies in Religion.
They questioned her approach to caring for the sick, her political relationships and the management of the enormous donations her organization received.
One of their central concerns was whether a religious belief in the spiritual value of suffering had been allowed to influence the standard of care provided to vulnerable patients.
Mother Teresa believed suffering could have profound spiritual meaning.
But there's a difference between helping someone find meaning in unavoidable suffering...
AND FAILING TO RELIEVE SUFFERING THAT MEDICINE COULD PREVENT.
There is also an important complication.
During the 1990s, India had extraordinarily restrictive regulations governing access to morphine.
Human Rights Watch later documented that India's medical morphine consumption collapsed by approximately 97% between 1985 and 1997.
Even major hospitals struggled to obtain adequate pain medication.
So the absence of strong painkillers at Mother Teresa's facilities does not, by itself, prove she deliberately withheld them because she wanted patients to suffer.
And Fox acknowledged something critics often leave out:
The home he visited provided cleanliness, wound care and genuine kindness to desperately poor people.
The Missionaries of Charity also cared for people whom hospitals had turned away.
Mother Teresa saw her mission primarily as offering dignity, love and spiritual comfort to the abandoned, rather than operating conventional hospitals.
Critics have questioned the Missionaries of Charity's financial transparency for decades.
But Tucker's more specific allegation that Mother Teresa funneled donated money to the Vatican rather than caring for patients has not been established by the evidence reviewed here.
That distinction matters.
IMPORTANT NOTES: Mother Teresa received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979.
The Catholic Church canonized her as a saint in 2016.
To millions of people, she remains one of the greatest symbols of compassion in modern history.
But the historical record also contains serious criticisms that deserve examination rather than automatic dismissal.
The most disturbing question isn't whether Mother Teresa personally believed suffering had spiritual value.
It's whether that belief, combined with the way her facilities operated, ever resulted in people enduring pain or illness that could have been treated.
Because there is a fundamental difference between helping someone die with dignity...
And allowing someone to suffer when they might not have needed to.
Dear Indian origin/American leaders in the US,
@satyanadella, @sundarpichai, @ArvindKrishna, @nikesharora, @nealmohan, @MicronCEO, @JayZscaler, @kunalb11, @RamaswmySridhar, @AravSrinivas, @ThomasOrTK, @LeenaNairHR, @snarayen, @VivekGRamaswamy, @RepBera, @CongressmanRaja, @RepSuhas@Kash_Patel
It is high time you all speak up against the despicable, dangerous racism and hate against Indians on American social media. And do something about it as Tech CEOs and political leaders.
The despicable, dehumanizing hate against Indians is being spread everywhere - Facebook, Instagram, X, Youtube, Reddit, Telegram...
Staying silent and not doing anything anymore - as more young people in the US are radicalized to hate Indians using social media - may one day lead to our own family and friends having to face such racist, radicalized, violent, supremacists.
American social media platforms are being used by adversarial actors to specifically target Indians in the US.
They are seeding racism and hate using violent words and dehumanizing imagery, programming many Americans to become racist and hateful - specifically against Indians.
May be it is being done to drive out Indians, attack India for geopolitics, or try erode India-US ties. But it is real, relentless and extreme form of communist hate that's being seeded.
There's no reason why, you all as stalwarts of silicon valley and politics can't get together, talk about this crisis, and take action to end ALL hate and racism on social media.
It shouldn't be that difficult in the age of AI to filter out, block racist and hate filled comments against any community, isn't it.
How come this is not being proposed and implemented across SV companies? And why isn't any of you speaking out against this increasing online hate and racism against Indian Americans and Indians?
Among all mentioned above, till now only @CongressmanRaja has talked about the topic of online hate and the recent attempted mass shooting.
Please start talking among yourselves, even if not publicly, and kindly take some action 🙏
For over a year now, anti-India racism on X has enjoyed freakish reach, engagement/payouts. Every Indian here has watched it happen. Racism against Indians literally incentivised, the X algorithm pours monetisation fuel on it.
Now a mass shooting plan by a white terrorist at a Hindu temple in Chicago has been foiled.
Hate spills from SM into real life, the people tweaking the algorithm will have blood on their hands.
This a myth. The reality is much simpler. Indians are just extremely generous and helpful within their circle of friends. This generosity extends to non-Indian friends. Ask anyone who has an Indian as a close friend - Indians tend to go out of their way to help their friends - almost to a fault and often to a point where it looks weirdly suspicious to those who aren’t used to such behavior. In fact this characteristic is also found in Pakistanis and it is not uncommon to find extremely close bonds between Indian and Pakistani families in the US - even as they preserve their adversarial acrimonies for each other’s countries. It’s the most Indic characteristic that Pakistanis have retained despite the cultural purge they have been subjected to.
I am outraged by the anti-Indian and anti-Hindu hate that is rising across the country and impacting so many, including my friend and colleague @CongressmanRaja
This attempt to slaughter families while they pray is the epitome of evil. We must combat anti-Indian and anti-Hindu prejudice wherever it occurs and continue strengthening the security of minority houses of worship.
My family and I were worshipping at our Hindu temple in Aurora on Sunday when a white supremacist attempted a mass shooting targeting Indian Americans. I'm grateful to those who helped prevent a tragedy, but we must come together to confront the hatred that put so many innocent lives at risk.
