better way would be for the government to pool its Psu stake and create a SWF corpus - this can be used to invest in india by divesting the psu holdings gradually

@safiranand@DavidInglesTV right analysis is that it trades at a slight premium to s&p 500, as eps growth higher. Chinese multiples are low as global invstrs continue to get out of Chinese equities - other em and apxj indices are dominated by China so it basically the same comparison 3 times

The public funds comment is a misunderstanding from the previous regime, under the new rbi regulations that came in 2021 under scale based regs, public borrowings is not a criteria
