The poppy is an international symbol of remembrance and is worn from the last Friday in October until Remembrance Day. Always worn on the left breast, they remain close to your heart or on a CAF member’s CADPAT rank. Here are the proper positions for poppies while in uniform.

@CHassberger I'll always remember this day when I was standing in line in a coffee shop while on duty, and a mom with a little girl pointed at me and said "See, even a woman can be a paramedic ". Thank you to my parents who, decades before that, were just hopeful I'd get a legit job 💕
