BOTW:
Wood Thrush gives a scaled down version of a American Robin just with longer legs. Has this color pattern of a warm reddish brown above and white with very clear to see brown/black spots. You would usually see them hoping around looking for food. #birds
This week BOTW: Killdeer ! They are similar in size to robin but with longer legs and wings ! They had two black bands that make them very distinct to see! You will see them a lot walking the ground , running ahead a few stops, you can look for them on open ground.

BOTW : Tree swallows. Stay in habitats that are open like fields and wetlands and nest in boxes or tree cavities !

BOTW : Tree swallows. They are streamlined small songbirds with long pointed wings and short tail. Males had a blue green shade above and white below while females duller with more brown underparts, they feed on small insects and catch in their mouth during acrobatic flight!

A large diving duck, breeding males have a chestnut head and neck while females are pale brown. Dives underwater to feed on plant tubers, seeds, and clams. Habitats are lakes and deep water marshes, bays and ponds. #ornithology#ducks
