UPDATE: October 14th 2026--- Renee Collins is facing stage 3 breast cancer, and the cancer has reached her muscle, making treatment more difficult. She’s been taking chemotherapy pills to shrink the tumor before a double mastectomy meeting with the surgeon. The oncologist visit on September 17th did not go as well as she thought it would. The surgeon now wants her to stay on the oral medication until the end of December. The scans she has now are planned for December 28th and the surgeon is planned for January 5th so that would be almost a year that she hasn't had anything done. She's exhausted and angry and her anxiety is through the roof.
Her GoFundMe is helping cover items from Renee’s Amazon recovery list, post surgical items, and bills that she didn't even know that she had until she looked into her online medical portal, one bill alone was over 5,000. The fundraiser has already helped thanks to 31 donations and $2,375 raised. That support can help Renee focus on healing and make recovery a little more comfortable.
Her email is [email protected] and her venmo is @renee-collins-97 Her last 4 digits are 5732
She's so grateful to everyone who has donated or shared her story so far. If you’re able, please visit the GoFundMe page and contribute toward the practical things she’ll need after surgery. Please SHARE to everyone you can! Prayers, funny stories, and memes are welcome too. 🩷🩷 #BreastCancerSupport #Renee's Recovery🩷🩷

I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. I have stage 3 cancer so I know how he must've felt. My sister in law had to set up a GoFundMe just to pay the expenses. We shouldn't have to worry about that we should be concentrating on fight it! You will always have the memories that you both shared. And nobody can ever take those away. My thoughts and Prayers are with you. 🙏🏻🩷🙏🏻🩷🙏🏻
I am so sorry and you all will be in my prayers. I also have stage 3 breast cancer and it's definitely not easy to go through. The anxiety, the pain, the exhaustion and the cost. It shouldn't cost to have cancer. We should be concentrating on getting well not worrying about that. I have a fund me page on my profile but I'm going to say prayers for your dad and family! Honestly in my opinion they should've found cures for every type of cancer by now. Nobody should have to go through this 🙏🏻🩷🙏🏻🩷🙏🏻
