@Fiestywenchyone Geez that is all high stress. My child only cried hysterically for about 20 minutes in response to being told no more books last night. Finally slept at 11:20pm...
Foolishly thought that a bus would get me home quicker than walking from the station. If I'd walked I would be home by now. Instead, two ghost buses later, just leaving the bus station. (unfortunately the bus station is not at the same stop I'd get off at to walk)
Good public transport is more than just a way to get from A to B. For some, it is freedom, and a way of life.

There’s a lot of commentary on breakdancing belonging to young people of colour and opportunity having been taken away. But the lack of diversity in the swimming team or the athletics team or those sports that require significant family money and support is also glaring.
She came from nothing and not only had to fight to get to the Olympics, not only fight her opponents, but also an absolutely disgusting segment of society trying to destroy her life under the guise of pretending to care about women’s safety. An iconic performance, what a legend

One notable facet of Hidalgo’s push to pedestrianize Parisian streets is how unremarkable the spaces are. No huge capital project, redesign, mural, or fanfare. Just a metal swing gate with some No signs and an icon of kids, and you 👏 are 👏 good.
(sorry about the blurry and unreadable grey text at the bottom - under a government I lead graphic designers who insist on light grey on white paper shall face a lifetime employment ban, with banishment to the same place that the tram window wrap advocates will be)
A dream about bicycle riding (where it wouldn't go any faster no matter how I pedalled), catching a bus and hoping it was the right one (to uni not Maribyrnong), and drinking cups of tea on a cruise ship (the waitress said she'd bring me another but then didn't)... 🙄
The Anzac biscuits that came home from school Food Tech class yesterday were delicious, and sorry if this is culturally disrespectful to the core food of Anglo Saxons, but these, Honey Joys, Chocolate Crackles, & maybe loaded porridge, are the only way cereals should be consumed.
It's quite nice living around the corner from a laundromat. Just washed my puffer jacket at home (quick cycle) and dried it there in under an hour all up.
@regan_23 Thanks for getting in touch.
