Why is it that, in 2023, no streaming music apps have the ability to change the buffer size? Even worse, @spotify is the only one of them that seemingly has a large enough buffer to complete a journey on metro systems that don’t have cellular service throughout (@NYCTSubway!)

What’s inexcusable is that the others seemingly don’t test for these scenarios when signal may be periodically strong (which isn’t exclusive to the metro riding population).

Seems like the old trick of marking every ad as “not interesting” in an effort to hide ads on this hell site no longer works.
