@RDunhamDPIC @DPInfoCtr Can you also talk about what the central message of the World Abolition Congress was, what came out of it? Our 🇩🇪 foreign minister has done a super job during the congress. Politicians of all nations were invited, 125 countries sent their representatives, but the US did not.
Germany has invited to the 8th World Congress against the Death Penalty. (Nov 15-18) Representatives from 125 nations came, also those of the US were invited, but they did not appear. Does anyone have an answer to this? https://t.co/rr4Wjhw3Lr @DeathPenaltyAct @RDunhamDPIC
After a bogus trial, Amal was just convicted to death by stoning for adultery. With a massive global outcry we can help save her life, and help halt the rollback of women’s rights in Sudan. Sign & RT: https://t.co/hiPEtegQac
Who should suffer more at the loss of a beloved mother than her loved ones? And if their desire to save Joe Nathan James's from execution is not heard by Governor Ivey,who calls herself America's most pro-life governor, it is just pure shame and maximum hypocrisy.@DeathPenaltyAct
On Thursday, Joe Nathan James Jr. will be executed in Alabama. He was sentenced to death for killing a woman in Birmingham in 1999. @AP reports the victim's family oppose the execution. Today I spoke with Governor Kay Ivey, who says the execution will go on as scheduled.
.@GovernorKayIvey says “there’s no reason” to stop the execution of Joe James, ignoring requests from the victim’s family to cancel it. We will remember this next time Gov. Ivey or any Alabama politician says the death penalty is “for the victims.”https://t.co/hxrymlvDmD
@ARDde, @ZDFheute, @welt, @ntvde
@deeplyclassical Great question..
For me it was Brahms 2 and Sibelius 5, more or less at the same time.. I was around 14-15 years old.
Sibelius 5 was during a live rehearsal with Bernstein at the Salzburg Festival, just amazing... I'll never forget it...
@hiltunen_luukas@JeanJCSibelius Thank you for this beautiful photo of Aino Järnefelt... her deep sensitivity, purity and modesty culminate in an almost incomprehensible beauty.... what an incredible woman at the side of Jean Sibelius...
Jim McCloskey investigated the case, and even after a post-execution DNA test in 2006 confirming Roger’s guilt, has doubts about the result.
So do I.

Roger Keith Coleman was executed in the state of Virginia exactly 30 years ago today, on May 20th, 1992. He claimed his innocence until the very end. This case has led me to actively fighting the death penalty. @DeathPenaltyAct @DeathPenaltyWW @DPFocus
