1) Good Financial Decision -Grandma thought so, stored value of the physical asset
2) Live there for 10 years- Grandma lived there For 50, even better!
3) Wanted make home- Gma easily was good where she is

@ramit @StevenBartlett I don’t agree.. Granny got the better deal. Even factoring in inflation and maintenance she still walked away with profit and a house! One that she doesn’t have to pay payments on anymore. Most of her dollars she spent are stored, unlike renting
