@thesadgamecock Even if they do, would it really be a bad thing? We had no dogs on the team this year. Week in and week out you saw no drive and no “want to win”
2025 🏈 Recap:
I’ll start with this was a disappointment beyond belief in 2025.
This is far beyond the 2023 season in my eyes.
- Shula among other assistants should’ve never had a job here , won’t name the others because some are still on staff
- OLine Play was the worst it’s been in a very long time here
- Injuries seem to happen by the boat loads
-43 Sacks allowed in 2025 is unacceptable
- Coaching malfunctions cost us some games (Mizzou, LSU, Alabama, A&M, and Clemson)
- Defense was also questionable in last two drives v Bama and whole 2nd half vs A&M
- I’d love for us to consistently stop the run here atleast once in the past 5 seasons
- Forced Turnovers saved us a lot this year from it being an even worse season
- As of today I don’t see Beamer as a HC in the SEC, he needs to hire competent assistants and take the CEO type role in the program for him to be successful
- He’s not proven he can do the statement above in year 5
- He’s also proven he cannot build off any momentum once so ever
- This roster this season had all the makings of a CFP contender you can look at some of the close results with CFP teams to see that
Lonnie Teasley was fired
Mike Shula was fired 5-6 Games too Late
More changes are needed imo they are:
Strength and Conditioning Coach
RB Coach
Overall this team was a CFP contending roster and they went 4-8, players regressed in production outside of a few
That’s 1000% on coaching no matter how you want to slice it
Beamer’s seat is at an all time heat level and he knows it
The OC hire will need to be a Splash hire, he will have to hit BIG in the portal, and he will have to have this team in CFP contention or 2026 will be his last here!
As Always Go Cocks and Forever To Thee 🤙🏻🐔
