@ArtemisConsort The fact that Scott did use Sailer's name, albeit indirectly, suggests to me that Scott himself wasn't embracing the Voldemort Principle. Rather, he may have withheld Sailer's name (perhaps reluctantly), anticipating that his analysis might otherwise be dismissed.
@AvalonInst I'd really like to go, but it's just too much travel time for me. I hope they'll record much of it so those of us who can't make it can watch afterward.

@MatNuclear The debate is between environment-only and environment-plus-genetics. Hereditarians don’t say it’s 100% genetic—the real extremists are the environment-only crowd.
@cremieuxrecueil Maybe border counties are defined as counties where a large number of residents commute & work out of state--Tennessee is only a little over a 100 miles top to bottom so if there are a lot of job opportunities across the border, maybe a lot of Tennessee counties would qualify.
@cremieuxrecueil But aren’t IQ-test subtests weighted to produce equal mean scores for males and females, making overall average sex differences impossible by design?
@batuhanppn At mid-neck level on the left side of the left image, a single hair about one inch long projects horizontally to the left from the leftmost edge of her hair.
@cremieuxrecueil No dated adoption timeline, just year-end buckets? As adoption spreads, low-adopters shrink while high-adopters grow — how is this shifting comparison controlled for? Also, the last-year mortality spike for low adopters, with no proposed cause, points to a selection bias problem.
