The bureaucrats that gave us renewable energy and exorbitant energy costs are now threatening to go on strike because they want more money for less work. Like renewables they only want to work some of the time.

Australia’s energy prices have already risen too much over the last decade. Consumers don’t need to be forking out more for energy prices.

Today’s bureaucrats are the aristocrats of centuries gone by.

It time Australia had its own reformation and cleaned out the government waste that is rife in our bureaucracy.

People First will start by removing the duplication of roles and responsibilities between state and federal governments.

Australia has become too top heavy with managers and it is grinding our prosperity into poverty.

“Union members at the Australian Energy Market Operator are threatening
"unprecedented" industrial action that could disrupt the energy market as they pursue substantial annual pay rises, the option of a four-day week for the same hours and pay, and protections from artificial intelligence.

Members of Professionals Australia, including engineers, scientists, technology analysts and managers, have voted down a third offer by AEMO management and returned a 90 per cent "yes" vote for protected industrial action.

"As a not-for-profit market body, AEMO's costs are ultimately borne by consumers," the energy body said. "Advocating for disruption across the energy sector and higher costs to consumers should be avoided."

AEMO is responsible for the operation of Australia's largest energy systems and markets and planning of the National Electricity Market.”
