Growing up, my Muslim family never celebrated Christmas. This year I am not going home, because pandemic, so my roommates are teaching me how to have my first proper Christmas.
I am approaching this with anthropological precision.
Here are a few observations.
@BlondeHistorian@SarahMiller1979 My niece used it for awhile when she was small and it seemed to make life easier for her. My favorite was she would sign βgood byeβ when she was done with you and wanted you to leave π€£
@ColtonDelphy@JenLRossman Much as I enjoy this bit I can't argue with this. This entire development felt so forced and like they were trying to inject more urgency into the story at the almost-last minute.
@JenLRossman I really feel like the writers were running out of time and ideas at this point, which is too bad because yeah that wouldβve been great if it had been earned.
@_falafey@JenLRossman True! This is right around the time I quit and indoor smoking bans came along not long after.
I didn't smoke in my or other people's homes, though, because it was impossible to get the smell out.
@pettifer_james@JenLRossman And I can think of at least two previous occasions where he ought to have learned this already. Get with the program, Giles.
