This is a very dreadful incident and I know while social media is filled with posts on putting blame or taking credits or diving into arguments of region or religion, I am glad that everyone is safe and heartfelt gratitude for all those who stood brave in this moment of need.
For readers in India and across the South Asian diaspora, Machchhar’s reported involvement gives the incident an immediate personal connection. His career, the passengers’ accounts and the airline’s confirmation of a... https://t.co/9ZruVjVcQ8
UnitedHealth Group was named as the #1 company in Healthcare on Fortune's AIQ 75 list. Glad to be a part of the journey leading it from the front with UHG team in a space as complex as Healthcare.

We spend most of life chasing status, money, success, and validation. I have too. But I keep coming back to one question: to what end?
ModernDharma is my attempt to answer.

Satisfying to see a concept coined in 2001 taking center stage of global dominance. BRICS.
I am an advocate of global economy and coordination, and successful initiatives like these help balance regional monopolies.
We are all too worried about AGI advancements replacing human workforce, taking our jobs. I see these being an augmentation if we truly learn to harness the power. A way to close the barrier to entry, the literacy curve.
And one thing AI can never take is the human touch and the emotions.

It would be worthwhile to see this adjusted to cost of living. I feel a lot of costs for US are inflated by virtue of the cost if living while China in comparison is also doing a lot of investments in AI, but the absolute unadjusted numbers might not reflect that appropriately.
Countries with the Highest Private AI Investment (2025)
1. 🇺🇸 United States - $285.9B
2. 🇨🇳 China - $12.4B
3. 🇬🇧 United Kingdom - $5.9B
4. 🇫🇷 France - $4.36B
5. 🇨🇦 Canada - $4.28B
6. 🇮🇳 India - $4.09B
7. 🇩🇪 Germany - $3.89B
8. 🇮🇱 Israel - $3.58B
9. 🇦🇺 Australia - $2.52B
10. 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia - $2.03B

Frankly speaking I don't even understand why visas eligible for COS are even considered part of H1 lottery. I mean if the intent is protecting local jobs then how subjecting someone who is already on an active job to a lottery system help. Thoughts?

Confusion of mind isn't the failure of clarity. It's the moment before clarity - the space where old beliefs loosen their grip and new ones take shape.
A phase of unlearning and relearning. So embrace it with awareness.
Hats off... such a determination persistence and focus. It does take a lot of discipline and rigor to be where you are Novak. And an example that age is just an excuse.
Law enforcement is one thing but where did we lose humanity in the process.
Legal immigration enforcement is right but I feel it should be done in the most humane way. We owe it to collective humanity.
I only wish if we could make the process a little less abrasive.
🚨BREAKING: In Minneapolis, ICE agents are now illegally detaining children at gun point, who are U.S. citizens, and taking them, as they raid houses without warrants.
In the video you see a man come out of the garage with his hands up. ICE agents are already surrounding the house with guns drawn.
A woman inside has her hands up, terrified, begging them not to break into her home because her kids are in the house.
Instead of de-escalating the situation, one agent with a shield and his gun
pointed at the unarmed mother, enters her garage and yells, “Who is in the house?”
She tells him, “My two [young] kids and son.”
He orders her, with his gun pointed at her, to step out and bring her kids.
He then aims his gun at the back of the garage, where the kids are walking, and she screams, “My kids! My kids are so young!”
Agents grab her teenage son… a U.S. citizen… unarmed, in shorts and sandals, and put his hands behind his back while the younger children cry.
She yells, “my son is a citizen!” but they don’t listen and walk away with him.
Only later, after they realize they can’t arrest a teenager, do they bring him back.
This is not immigration enforcement.
Federal agents have no authority to surround homes, threaten families at gun point, or remove anyone… especially a child… without a warrant.
And yet… this is happening all over Minneapolis.
@priyaee_ Agree on the fraud governance and but making statements as "people coming and taking your job, houses etc." smells incompetence. Guessing from your name, likely ur parents or some generation may have been immigrants here too using one of these programs.
@beaverd A lot of these big consulting firms have become giant pile of inefficient systems and bureaucratic organizations. I am not against the concept of consulting companies but I think government needs to review the process it takes to assess costs and offer contracts.
Sam Altman says OpenAI’s models are “beginning to find critical vulnerabilities,” so OpenAI is hiring a $555,000 Head of Preparedness to tighten how it tests and ships agentic systems.
The job listing says the role runs OpenAI’s Preparedness Framework, building capability evaluations, threat models, and mitigations for cybersecurity, biosecurity, and AI self-improvement.
OpenAI has earlier warned that frontier models could enable 0-day remote exploits, and recently Anthropic reported a China-linked campaign using Claude Code against about 30 targets with 80%-90% automation, so “advisor” models are starting to look like operators.

The real test of a man's character starts when he is at the peak of his success not when he is nothing. A lot are able to touch success but very few are able to hold it and not get lost in the glamor.
Focus on your strengthening your mindset before you strengthen in material.
LinkedIn just dropped 25 bold predictions for 2026.
While I am excited of the promises, the one that has me most worried is the increase in Loneliness as the world becomes increasingly digital.
