🚨 URGENT: @Support@elonmusk@x - we need your help.
Our co-founder @alanvibe has had his X account compromised and is now completely locked out.
This appears to be part of a wider, potentially targeted attack which also affected our main Together account.
If you've received an unexpected DM from @alanvibe (or Together), please DO NOT click any links or engage with it.
We urgently need a real person at X to help Alan regain control of his account and investigate what has happened.

Will you publicly say:

No Jury Appeal bans
Free Speech no bans?
My vote depends on this in Locals & National Elections

Live facial recognition treats everyone as suspect, ends anonymity, and has no democratic mandate. A free society would ban it, not regulate it. Respond by 12 Feb, tell Home Office a “panopticon” is mass surveillance, not policing by consent: https://t.co/q99VG9Y2kW

Under 16s "social media ban” = Digital ID for all by the back door?
Unworkable. Unnecessary. Dangerous for free speech.
Parents must decide, not the state.
No to ID by stealth @Keir_Starmer@MattWestern_@SciTechGovuk#together
Signs of authoritarianism going too far:
Ending jury trials.
Cancelling elections.
Jailing people for hurty posts.
Introducing Digital ID without a mandate.
Considering banning X/Twitter.
Or as we call it in the UK, another day under a Labour government.
It is ridiculous some are trying to get fear & panic over flu going again
We will not be reliving Covid hysteria with masks & school closures, which are so damaging

3m people signed the petition against compulsory digital ID
This is yet another radical policy that did not feature anywhere in Labour's manifesto and no-one voted for
Will you be attending the debate in Parliament on 8 Dec @MattWestern_ ?

Public rejects compulsory digital ID, now Govt want to use our veterans as "guinea pigs" on unsecure One Login system - months after we learned of Afghan data breach? Unthinkable @DefenceHQ

Not acceptable. Well done @togetherdec for campaign: https://t.co/EBukAARvx4
Today we wrote to our councillors #together
No one voted for Digital ID. It would turn councils into surveillance enforcers, affecting housing, benefits, and much more
Councillors must oppose this firmly - or be voted out!

🚨 URGENT: PLEASE READ – DIGITAL ID & THE DIGITAL POUND 🚨
Everyone is talking about Digital ID — but please understand, that’s not the endgame. That’s the distraction. The bigger picture is the Bank of England’s digital pound. And we must read the small print.
The Bank of England states: “The digital pound would be a new form of money for households and businesses. It would be issued by the Bank of England, widely available, and convenient to use.” (Bank of England)
It sounds harmless. They reassure us it will “complement cash, not replace it,” and that it would only be used “if you choose to.” But history shows us how quickly choice becomes compulsion. First optional, then expected, then mandatory. Cash may not vanish overnight — but starve it of use, and it dies quietly.
Here’s the critical point: for a digital pound to function, it cannot exist without Digital ID. That’s why the ID debate is being pushed into headlines right now — because it softens the ground. Once your identity is tied to your money, every transaction becomes traceable, every decision logged. What they call “security” is in fact surveillance.
The Bank itself admits: “The digital pound would be accessed through digital wallets offered by the private sector.” That means third-party companies, not you, not me, will stand between us and our own money. They will verify identity, impose conditions, and mediate access. This creates a system where your financial freedom is not a right, but a service.
Yes, they promise safeguards: “Neither the Government nor the Bank of England would have access to your personal data.” But policies can be rewritten, laws can be bent, and crises can be manufactured. Once the system exists, it takes only one emergency to flip the switch. Privacy is not permanent.
This is not just an economic shift. It is a constitutional one. When money and identity are fused, access to your own life becomes conditional. Speak out of turn, step out of line, resist — and in the wrong hands, your access can be denied. Not by law, not by due process, but by the silent denial of a transaction.
To the people of the UK: do not be distracted by the Digital ID headline. That is the surface. The substance is the digital pound. Once introduced, it will fundamentally alter the relationship between citizen, state, and freedom. And as the Bank itself confirms, this is already in motion.
We must not sleepwalk into this. We must question, scrutinise, and demand real protections — not vague promises. Because once the digital pound is here, there will be no going back.

Digital ID for every adult is not progress. It is the end of a free society dressed up as convenience.
I am a cyber security specialist. This is my take.
They are selling it as a fix for illegal migration. That is bollocks.
We spend hundreds of billions a year on cyber security and yet the volume of breaches is breaking records. The threat is growing faster than the spend.
Digital ID will not stop boats. It will not stop trafficking gangs. It will not fix a broken border.
Criminals will work around it.
Honest citizens will pay the price.
It builds giant data banks that track where you go, what you buy, what you read and who you speak to.
It links your identity to every checkpoint in daily life.
One breach and your life is exposed.
Look at Jaguar Land Rover and the airports in recent weeks. Now imagine that at national scale on an ID system tied to everything you need to live your daily life.
Here is the risk that ministers will not admit.
Ransomware seeded through a supplier or an insider:
It lies quiet for months. It rolls through the backups. On trigger day the register and the recovery sets are both encrypted.
Payments fail. Health and benefits stall. Borders slow. Citizens are frozen out until a ransom is paid or the state rebuilds from scratch.
Centralise identity and you centralise failure.
Do not fall for the pitch.
Function creep is certain. It starts as login.
It becomes access to money, travel, speech and public services.
It turns rights into permissions controlled by the state and its contractors.
It creates a single point of failure for criminals, insiders and hostile states to target.
It will punish the elderly, the poor and anyone who is not always online.
It will centralise risk and outsource blame.
It will not stop fraud.
It will not stop illegal migration.
It will build the machinery for a social credit system by stealth.
If ministers cared about the border, they would enforce current laws, resource patrols and processing, close loopholes and remove those with no right to stay.
You do not need a national ID to do any of that.
We scrapped ID cards in 2010 for a reason.
Britain does not need a central register to prove age or status.
Yes to privacy first proofs. No to a database state.
