What happened to America?
How did we get rampant homosexuality, adultery, feminism, immodesty, abortion, and pagan immigration?
What is the root cause of our fall?
We turned from Christ.
We stopped going to church.
We put down our Bibles.
The cost of rejecting God is high.

Satan is not opposed to good morals.
He’s opposed to Jesus Christ.
Read that again because most Christians miss this completely.
Satan doesn’t care if you’re a “good person.” He doesn’t care if you volunteer at the food bank, recycle your trash, and help old ladies cross the street. He doesn’t care if you’re kind, generous, and well-liked by everyone in your community.
He cares that you don’t bow the knee to Jesus.
Here’s the deception that’s damning millions:
Satan has convinced people that morality equals spirituality. That being a “good person” is the same as being a Christian. That if you just live right, treat people well, and avoid the “big sins,” you’re acceptable to God.
This is a lie straight from the pit of hell.
The Pharisees had impeccable morals. They followed the law meticulously. They were respected, disciplined, and religiously devoted.
Jesus called them children of the devil.
Why? Not because their morals were bad. Because their morals replaced Christ.
Satan’s greatest trick isn’t making bad people worse. It’s making good people think they don’t need a Savior.
Think about it:
The atheist who feeds the homeless thinks he’s good enough without God.
The Buddhist who meditates and practices compassion thinks she’s enlightened without Christ.
The Muslim who prays five times daily thinks he’s righteous without Jesus.
The moral Christian who goes to church, pays his tithe, and avoids scandal thinks he’s saved without surrender.
All of them are headed to the same place: eternal separation from God.
Because morality doesn’t save. Jesus saves.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
Satan loves moral people who reject Jesus. They’re his best advertisement for the lie that you can earn your way to heaven.
They’re living proof that you can:
•Be kind without Christ
•Be generous without God
•Be disciplined without the Holy Spirit
•Be respected without redemption
And still be lost.
The most dangerous people in hell won’t be the murderers and rapists. They’ll be the moral, upstanding citizens who thought their goodness was good enough.
Their morals became their idol. Their goodness became their god.
And Satan smiled because he’d accomplished his goal: Keep them from Jesus.
Here’s what most Christians don’t understand:
Satan doesn’t need to make you do bad things. He just needs to keep you from doing the ONE thing that matters: surrendering to Christ.
If he can get you to:
•Trust your morals instead of Christ’s sacrifice
•Rely on your goodness instead of God’s grace
•Believe in your works instead of Jesus’ finished work
He’s won.
You can live a moral life and still die lost. You can be a good person and still face judgment. You can avoid all the “big sins” and still end up separated from God forever.
Because the only sin that damns you eternally is rejecting Jesus Christ.
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” John 3:36
Not the murderer who repents and believes in Christ is damned.
Not the thief who turns to Jesus on the cross is damned.
Not the prostitute who washes Jesus’ feet with her tears is damned.
The moral, religious person who rejects Christ is damned.
That’s why Satan loves morality without Jesus. It sends people to hell with a smile on their face, convinced they were good enough.
Stop trusting your morals. Start trusting Jesus.
Your goodness won’t save you. Your works won’t redeem you. Your morality won’t justify you.
Only the blood of Jesus Christ can wash away your sin and make you acceptable to a holy God.
Everything else is just Satan’s distraction from the one thing that actually matters.

When Preachers Entertain, the Devil Applauds – The Pulpit Was Never Meant for Performance
Introduction
The pulpit was never meant to be a stage, the preacher was never meant to be a performer, and the congregation was never meant to be an audience waiting to be impressed. The pulpit is a sacred place of proclamation where a man stands under the fear of God, opens the word of God, and declares the message of God to souls who will one day stand before God. That is not entertainment. That is not religious theater. That is not motivational speaking with a Bible verse sprinkled on top. That is not a comedy routine, a branding opportunity, a personality platform, or a weekly performance designed to keep people emotionally engaged and spiritually undisturbed. The pulpit was meant for preaching. “Preach the word,” said Paul in 2 Timothy 4:2. Not entertain the crowd. Not manage the room. Not protect the atmosphere. Not build the preacher’s image. “Preach the word.” When the pulpit forgets that command, the devil does not need to shut the church down. He just needs to turn the pulpit into a stage.
The devil applauds entertaining preaching because entertaining preaching can keep people busy without making them holy, moved without making them obedient, laughing without making them repent, impressed without making them tremble, and comfortable without making them converted. The devil does not mind a preacher who can hold attention if he cannot hold the line. He does not mind religious energy if there is no conviction. He does not mind a packed building if the saints are not being fed and sinners are not being warned. He does not mind polished sermons that make people say, “That was amazing,” as long as nobody walks away saying, “God has spoken to me, and I must get right.” The devil is not afraid of talent. He has seen plenty of it. He is not afraid of crowds. He has plenty of them. He is not afraid of emotion. He can manufacture that anywhere. What he fears is a Bible opened, a cross preached, sin exposed, Christ exalted, hell warned against, doctrine declared, and the Holy Ghost using the sword of the Spirit to cut into hearts.
The modern pulpit is in danger because too many preachers have confused communication with performance. Yes, a preacher should be clear. Yes, he should be understandable. Yes, he should avoid needless dullness, careless speech, and lazy preparation. But clarity is not entertainment, and earnestness is not showmanship. The old prophets were not performers. John the Baptist was not a performer. Paul was not a performer. Stephen was not a performer. The Lord Jesus Christ was not a performer. They spoke truth with authority because eternity was real. Today, many pulpits are shaped more by audience retention than divine commission. Sermons are crafted to be shareable, pleasant, humorous, smooth, non-threatening, emotionally timed, and socially acceptable. But the Bible says, “It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” God did not choose performance as His method. He chose preaching. When preaching becomes entertainment, the pulpit may still draw applause from men, but it loses power with God.
Chapter One: The Pulpit Is a Place of Proclamation, Not Performance
The pulpit is a place of proclamation because the preacher is a herald, not an actor. A herald does not invent the king’s message. He does not soften it because the crowd is sensitive. He does not change it to fit the mood of the hour. He does not decorate it with enough humor and personality that the decree becomes secondary to the delivery. He stands and announces what the king has said. That is Bible preaching. The preacher stands with a Book in his hand and a charge on his soul. He is not there to display himself. He is there to declare God’s word. The moment the preacher becomes the main attraction, the pulpit has been profaned.
Second Timothy 4:1-2 gives the preacher his charge: “I charge thee therefore before

🚨‼️A lot of Christians are not ruined by adultery, drunkenness, or apostasy. They are ruined by delay. They keep saying “one day” while God keeps saying “today.” One day I’ll get serious. Write the page. Pray the prayer. Make the call. Take the step. Stop waiting for a perfect season in a cursed world. If the thing is right, scriptural, and sitting in your hands, then your biggest enemy may not be confusion. It may be disobedience with a polite smile on its face.
One day you are going to stand before the Lord Jesus Christ, and it will not matter how many intentions you had stacked up in your head. It will matter what you did with what He gave you. That is the difference between a burden and a biography. Plenty of people feel things. Fewer obey. So quit bragging about what you know God has put on your heart and go do the next thing He already showed you to do.

I believe we should be proud of our country. A quote is a quote. It should not be amended or watered down. The news should not be afraid to use someone’s quote that refers to God.
On the "Today Show", one of the wives of one of the Navy Seals killed along with the US ambassador in Libya was being interviewed. He asked her what she would say to her children about their dad and how she would want them to remember him. Her answer, and I quote, "His love for Christ", and then continued on with a few other things. Throughout the day and on the MSN homepage, replaying the story, they have edited the "Love of Christ" part out. Why? Because using the word Christ might offend someone! Well now, it's my turn to be offended! I'm offended that they would edit it out. Offended that Christians are asked to tread lightly so as not to offend someone of another religion. This man loved his country and loved God and gave his life for both. This Founding Principle is actually embedded in our Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
