Run /checkup to:

1. Clean up unused skills/MCPs/plugins and save context
2. Dedup your local CLAUDE.md against the checked in CLAUDE.md
3. Break up root CLAUDE.md into nested CLAUDE.md's + skills
4. Turn off slow hooks
5. Update your Claude Code to the latest version
6. Enable auto mode by default
7. Pre-approve frequently denied read-only commands

cuando empecé con agentes, tardé bastante en darme cuenta de que usarlos y construirlos requieren habilidades muy distintas.

esa diferencia cambia por completo dónde conviene invertir el tiempo.

si tu objetivo es crear tus propios sistemas, tarde o temprano vas a encontrarte con temas como:
- harness engineering
- tool design
- context engineering
- memoria
- evals y guardrails
- loop engineering

si hoy, en cambio, trabajás con herramientas como Claude Code o Codex, priorizaría aprender a:
- escribir mejores specs y gestionar el contexto
- saber cuándo usar /compact
- decidir cuándo delegar en subagents
- elegir el modelo adecuado para cada tarea
- planificar antes de ejecutar y definir criterios claros de éxito

no hay un camino mejor que el otro.

elegí el que más sentido tenga para lo que necesitás hoy. con el tiempo, ambos se terminan complementando: entender cómo se diseñan estos sistemas también te ayuda a usarlos mucho mejor.
